The assembly of the Stihl BG 55 Blower hopefully for the last time and a little FYI that you should do before you open anything you purchase without being able to inspect it prior to paying for the item.

@27:00 I find it easier to put the trigger pin and trigger onto the other side. Put the throttle linkage into the carb and slide the entire assembly on the intake. Hook up the throttle linkage to the trigger. Great video. My neighbor just gave me one. Cylinder and piston badly scored. I just ordered new parts for it. It's a fun project for this retiree.

Thank you for your complete set of videos for the BG55. I especially enjoy seeing and hearing your comments when you encounter issues and setbacks. Most mechanics would erase these from the video. *Should make carb adjustments with the tube on as it puts the required load on the engine. Sounds like it could be leaned a little more on the high side to get it to it's max safe running capability. I have the same blower and mine screams and revs crisp.*

I left it a little on the rich side for the first few runs (10 or so) due to this being a new aftermarket piston/cylinder running mr regular 32:1 oil mix that I use in everything I own. I have since tuned the carb to factory specifications useing a tach to set the rpm's.

Just an update I've used this blower at least once a week for 15 to 20 minutes each use since it was completed with no issues at all.

That's good to know! Thanks for the update. Stihl is classic German quality. Should last a long time if taken care of.
I know I'll be replacing at least the carburetor on mine, but I'll know more once I get my eyes on it. I'll update when it's done!
