It shouldn’t shock you then, to hear that each of the movies released so far had some serious behind-the-scenes battles to make them shipshape.
Yeah the sheer logistical scope of 2&3’s production was an Herculean task. From the on location filming to the massive production sets and crew accommodations, it’s insane they even finished on schedule. Problem was the writers really delayed getting the script fully written to the point the director was frustrated with them during the production which left literally no time to solidify the story upon completion Even then, what was achieved visually in these adventure epics is incredible and testament to Hollywood craftsmen

"I love a challenge!" -- but they are putting themselves at great risk for no reason. I have to believe that there were safer ways to get these shots. Someone was not being responsible here.
Stunt actors are the unsung heroes of movies. That being said, I’m fine with reducing stunt risk levels and/or using CGI to better protect stunt actors from such serious injuries, even if the result isn’t as cool
Actors and stunt doubles risking their lives to provide us with fantastical entertainment. In special studios and out in actual environments. Many a movie going troll: Too much green screen and CGI, not real enough.

That is crazy to hear how risky a lot of this is. What I don't get is the blowing up scene of a boat was done inside, yet to catch the ship at the end of this clip on fire, they killed a lot of sea life which is terrible, why didn't they do that indoors, or CGI or some other crazy way of making a 3in ship look like a real one and light it up? I never saw this behind the scenes before but that really upset me that weeks after this movie, animals were still being washed up on shore. & I hope they did the right thing and took accountability for this and somehow managed to help, donate to a good cause...something 🥺
Johnny cant go back to this set. He dedicated himself to this movie, gave his all, wore and drunk the character. He became Jack Sparrow and then Captain Jack Sparow. Disney let him down he can never have the vigour to do it again
