This was the last great era of popular songwriting - these type of songs will never be written again. Most of today’s music reflects the selfishness and evil in the world, and leaves nothing memorable behind. I’m so grateful that some of these moments are preserved for us to go back and revisit.
Tammy Wynette what's one of the most unique singers we had just like Patsy cline. Who was one of her favorite singers.. But Tammy had a hard and difficult life starting with her 1st marriage and ending with her last and 5th. All those surgeries from a hysterectomy after her last child was born 1970 cause severe chronic pain and had her being addicted to drugs. It started with Versed, Phenergan, Valium, Diemerol, and Dilaudid.. This was being injected into her even while she was touring and towards the end of her life she had a port where the pain medicine would be given.. I feel so bad for her suffering...😪
