    Beautiful and peaceful garden. Would be nice to sit by the water and drink tea and enjoy the sounds of nature.

      It seems you can drink tea at the tea house there. Please enjoy.

    So beautiful and serene. I love how you walked over the stones and little bridges over the water. Everything is so pristine. Very peaceful.
    Thank you so much!

      Thank you for your comment. The moss green has taken long time to become like this. And you can feel it.

    This video brought back some great memories. I totally forgot about the watermill!
    It is impressive how the back garden uses the mountains as a backdrop to make it seem much larger.

      We call the landscape behind shakkei. Every garden designer try to use it. In this garden they use Mt. Mikasa and the huge gate of Todaiji temple as shakkei.

    wow i love all that moss, thanks for sharing. also has anyone said anything to you about walking around with a sword?

    • @lastsamuraikyoto
      @lastsamuraikyoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sometimes I’m in trouble. But this sword doesn’t have sharp edge. It’s legal to carry this.

    Is there Kajiwara on black horse? Beautiful video of great places! Thank you so much!

    • @lastsamuraikyoto
      @lastsamuraikyoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kajiwara on black horse was in Uji river. But it’s not far from here. I have an episode of Byodoin temple. It is Uji area.

    • @ArielRaskin

      @@lastsamuraikyoto Uji area has a great tea. I think it's a first place where tea was cultivated in Japan

    • @lastsamuraikyoto
      @lastsamuraikyoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My grandmother’s family business is producing tea around that area. I love Japanese tea.

      @@lastsamuraikyoto WOW! once a time (2 months) I'm ordering tea from Japan. Great tea. :) Do they have a online store or just a local farm business?

    • @lastsamuraikyoto
      @lastsamuraikyoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m afraid they don’t do any online business.
