How long does the final grinding on the potter's wheel usually take? How do you measure when you have reached the correct thickness?

Can I ask something? What kind of product is used to attach the cover slide in the final process?
I use Canada balsam but it is difficult to control heating amount. I watched that your stuff is just liquid state. Can you tell me what that is please?

I have a really hard time when using the cement, the problem is with the bubbles, when I insert the slab on the slide it's really hard to remove the bubbles, what's the best technique for this problem

Watch the guy's technique - he works the bubbles out by moving the slide around side to side on the sample whilst the cement is still liquid, having previously filled any pores and cavities with cement. It does takes a bit of practice, and some very porous samples can be a nightmare for popping bubbles up just when you think you've got it done, but just remove the slide, scrape the surface and re-fill any pores, add more cement and start again. Sometimes you may need to re-mount the slide 3 or 4 times - it happens.

Absolutely, you just need to set them in some kind of stabilising compound (like epoxy resin)
