    That crown fits you perfectly!
A hint regarding the editing: I recommend to cut down on the music when you make a comment. A separate mike could perhaps enhance the comprehension against the ambient noise (like in the castle). Have fun! You see more of Germany/Austria than I have.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it. I try and lower it when I’m talking but it seems to not be enough. I’ll try and look into gettin a microphone again. You’re right, they do work, and make a difference. They’re just a little too expensive. BUT, hopefully soon.

If you liked that fairy tale dream of Ludwig II. you must also visit his two other "projects" Linderhof and Herrenchiemsee. The first one a really gorgeous tiny palace in barock or rokoko style with a man made stalactite cave and the later a copy of versaille on an island in the chiemsee. Unfortunately in Herrenchiemsee only thebig mirror hall was completed before Ludwig died.

My ex struggled with the Mexican food in Germany not because it was bad, but like Asian food it was prepared for a different customer base, so it never tasted like at home (Mexicali). Whenever she wanted to eat authentic Mexican, she prepared it by herself. Lucky me 😎. The ingredients are easy to find in small family operated stores, often called "Asia Shop" (they also sell african and latin american stuff), not in the chain ones.
PS: the green sauce with your quesadillas really was just mostly vinegar, difficult to find one that tastes good

The problem of being abroad: it is not like at home. Isn't that the reason to go there in the first place? Not wanting to scold you but wanting to eat food I know from home is a little ... umh ... silly. But you covered that by the different customer base. And that is the hidden beauty of it: How do other countries interpret the familiar recipe?! I can totally understand complaining when you want to make a dish from home by yourself and not finding the right ingredients. Because they are use differently or are not available at all. My problem of finding liquorish candy in the US if I feel a yearning.
I had an experience which change my mind in JApan. I went into a bakery wanting to get some snack, cake whatever. I saw something that looked exactly like a danish. Crispy dough with a yelloish pudding in the middle. When I took the first bite I kind of felt like throwing my mouth (and tastebuds) into reverse gear while doing 60. The outside dough was exactly what was to be exspected but the pudding part was ... made of fish paste. Jikes!! After all it didn't taste bad but preset mind was completely derailed. I learned by this experience never to expect anything familiar only because it looks familiar. And to avoid such disappointment just go for things that have no familiarity so to not expect anything. Just being open for new things. And again, that being the reason for going abroad.
Just another tidbit: When I was in Florida our neighbors recommended a German style restaurant to me. And that I felt, was totally beside the point. I could have tons of German food back in Germany. (I was staying for about 3 weeks) And the comparison, as you mentioned, might not have been positive for the recognition aspect. OTOH the neighbors might have found it interesting to go to an exotic restaurant. But they overestimated my desire to find home food. Nevertheless they wanted to help me getting around. So I still was thankful regarding their consideration for me.
Probably more than you wanted to hear.

but i can very well complain if its such a simple thing as espresso thats totally butchered everywher you go in north america, they simply dont know how to make a good espresso

Neuschwanstein is not a historic castle, from the 12th century but was only finished in 1892. It was open for tourists even before it was finished. Real history is found elsewhere: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eltz_Castle

Neuschwanstein means translated „new (Neu) swan (Schwan) stone (Stein)“ the swan was the heraldic animal of the royal family of King Ludwig II, That's why there are swans in art and Souvenirs everywhere to find.

If you should visit the place again,
I recommend a tour through the small yellow castle "Schloss Hohenschwangau" (the name also includes the German word for swan *schwan*) in the valley.
It was the castle of Ludwig II's father Maximilian II and was the first „Schwanstein“ castle (without „neu“ (new) at the beginning of the name) but Ludwig renamed it when he built the *new* NeuSchwanStein Castle.
The furnishing of Castle „Hohenschwangau“ is much older, much more magnificent, noble and even richer decorated/designed as Neuschwanstein (Because Ludwig drowned himself in a lake, long time before the inside of Neuschwanstein was finally finished)

Sorry I (been born and raised in Munich) always thought that the LION was the main element of the coat of arms of house Wittelsbach, who ruled bavaria for more than 700 years.
As far as I know Ludwig II was the greatest fanboy of Richard Wagners Operas, where Lohengrin brought also the swan into the picture, so the "Märchenkönig" (fairy tale king) lived completely in his romantic medieval dreams.

@@samfetter8191 if you only were smart, then i wouldnt have to explain to you that "nude watching" has become part of tourist activity already, not a reason for a trip. pretty much the same reason why amsterdam made some new rules for their red light district. unfortuntately youre not able to figure such an easy thing out by yourself and you really need it to be explained to you like some doofus. and as for demographics: thats not reportedly not the reason which stopped people from going there completely

I was stationed at Wisbaden Army Air-Base and used to go downtown with my buddies whenever we had the chance. It is a nice city to stroll around in. I like the crystal-clear photography in all your videos. Great work!

Neuschwanstein is the most impressive from the outside, of course. But as far as the interior is concerned, I was much more impressed by the palace of Herrenchiemsee (located on an island in the Bavarian lake Chiemsee). So if you feel like visiting these kinds of places again, maybe give Herrenchiemsee a try.

It is more worth. So the numbers are less.
You could look up the exchange rate. It is 1:1.12 at the moment.
      So 10 EUR are $11.20
For a fast comparison you take the price in EUR and add a tenth.
And all prices in Germany are include taxes.
