i was planning on doing the loco roco series after i'm done with patapon 2 and 3, of course first i'd actually have to get myself to play it, which isn't exactly easy
I'd say you hit the nail on the head with this one, and while I'll be waiting to see your thoughts of 2 and 3 for after my replay of said games, I'm sure it will be just as good, if not better than this first one
Kon Kimpon was incredibly hard. Anyway, whilst berserk mode in Patapon 3 is idiotic, some of the levels at the end of Patapon 1 were suddenly a breeze, where others where incredibly hard.

I'm all ready 5 minutes in to the video and I just can't stop thinking about how I want to play the game again, but I can't cause I can't play it! I remember when I was a little kid, probably 8 I used to be playing it more then my family, I remembering some of the soundtracks and keeping the fervers going for most of the the levels in the game. also I used to have the 3 games and play tham but didn't finished the games cause I didn't understand English back then and have some issues with reading in general (ADHD and Dyslexia, also I've been diagnosed so yeah)! oh and last summer I remembered a soundtrack that I didn't remember that from and a week after that I remembered it again but this time I did remember where I have heard it from, and now I have the playlist of all the soundtracks of the 3 games and made my icon too because it's just one of the first games I have played and remebered how the game work, well most of it and the 3th game was one of my favorite because of the characters and the story and levels etc... when I realized that I was the only person (except my family) who knows that the game exist and it made me upset that no one knows the game's existence. (also sorry if my English is bad) :')
Funnily enough, the reason why Ciokina is annoying in my opinion is because it's too slow, the boss will prepare an attack, so you'll dodge or defend, but by the time the boss actually launches its attack you'll be in the middle of the next measure...
If im not wrong the game actually recommends you to cancel fever in one of the in game tips but due to P1 clunky inputs and slower fever is frustrating to do contrary to P2 and P3.
I thought patapon were inspired by oriental mythology, what with their god being called kami by defaul, and the world egg being from chinese mythology.
west african themes are seen all throughout the game, such as the patapon festival, the drums, a few backgrounds and much more, though that is a very interesting take to say the least. also their god is called kami by default probably because the game was made in japan and kami seemed way cooler than just "god" everywhere else
The main reason why i consider Patapon 2 to be much better than 1 is because of the permanent death of the units, is just so annoying, especially if its a ultra rarepon...
@@Lord_Fong i have a lot to say about patapon 3 (and i mean a LOT), i will touch on how people like madwig have improved the game, but i will be talking about on how the game is on the psp, and even though you are right about multiplayer, i'm gonna be mostly focusing on the singleplayer campaign (this is a portable game after all). not sure about vs mode, though (never tried it), so i might have someone else explain it in detail for me

I played the hell out of Patapon 2 and especially 3 on psp. There is no other games like it that i know of.
These games got remastered on the ps5 and ps4 so now the music can be heard in higher quality
