Great video Gary. I had the Cherilea Scout Car as a kid. Unfortunately it wasn't big enough to use as a skateboard! 😉👍

This would be my favourite Action Man vehicle so I am pleased you covered it so throughly in the video! Great work as ever.

So, this was a British G.I.Joe? I remember commercials for it here, but rarely seen on a store shelf. Over here, G.I.Joe was King.

The scoutcar was virtually indestructible, it could handle al lot of abuse

I always wonder who's parents bought their kids all this stuff? Couldn't have been cheap. I was a kid when all this came out. I was lucky to get a Chinese knock-off from my dad, with a unintentionally scary face, and a two part army and sailor's uniform, plastic hats and boots with no accessories. I thought I was lucky that day.

They missed out on making some of the details removeable...surely the shovel/spade on the front of the body was one such item that could have been attached or mounted, especially since they already made the tool...doan tell me about costs LOL

I am wondering- yes it is a scout car but I notice it doesn't have a lug for towing a trailer or the "howitzer" type gun...could you attach such a lug to "modify" that option🤔
After all, they used Belgian Gates on the fronts of tanks for the "bocage" in Normandy😂
