Yeah, I can only imagine these are useful if you live on the same property in a house above ground and you just need to take stairs/ladder/elevator down. Even assuming you get notified as soon as an ICBM is fired, 10 minutes is very little time. Getting proper bunker doors opened, getting in and closing them could already take as much as 5 minutes if you use pressurizing and such. So unless it's next door or below your feet, it won't be much use. Ofcourse, in case the economy is on the point of collapsing and rioting and looting take over the streets, you'd probably be able to take 2 hours.

, thing about these super bunkers is that you have to be in there when the missiles drop. it only takes 35 minutes for an ICBM to reach America much less Europe which is about ten minutes. so mmm, useless unless you live very close, very very close to the bunker
Yeah, I can only imagine these are useful if you live on the same property in a house above ground and you just need to take stairs/ladder/elevator down. Even assuming you get notified as soon as an ICBM is fired, 10 minutes is very little time. Getting proper bunker doors opened, getting in and closing them could already take as much as 5 minutes if you use pressurizing and such. So unless it's next door or below your feet, it won't be much use. Ofcourse, in case the economy is on the point of collapsing and rioting and looting take over the streets, you'd probably be able to take 2 hours.

I got headache when looking squared wall bunkers. One earthquake and whole complex will collapse under weight of dirt. There is the reason why tubed bunkers is the only safe solution.

I feel like most of these don't actually exist. Most of the 'photos' are computer generated and the ones that are real, could literally be from anywhere. I think my favorites are the ones from 'underground' bunkers that feature sunlight streaming in through the windows.

That polish block house is anything but a fortress the movable sections are plywood framed so about ten minutes with a sledge hammer yes a truly awesome fortress lol.

But how do you get there!?! I've been so curious to know this, because the people who can afford this don't tend to live in these areas & they likely travel a lot. I'm assuming they fly ofc, but you'd have to get to your plane, & fly there, which could take hours. So if there's nuclear armageddon going on, wouldn't that be an issue?
