The air intake is the vulnerable spot. Whether smoke, chemicals or just gasoline vapor, they are coming out. Yeah I know for certain amount of time they have an air supply but if you’re outside you have an unlimited supply. They are coming out.

Many of these companies have 50 miles of underground tunnels, not 2000 feet deep, hundreds of feet deep. They are usually 26 feet wide give or take and anywhere from 26 feet to 52 feet high. Obviously they are blasting through solid rock every day. The temperature varies very little once you get back in that mine a good way. 52° F would be a good temperature to keep in mind. Obviously the vulnerability for an underground bunker would be air intake for breathing and for operating something like a generator. And I’m not going to spend an hour here telling you that you have to keep warm. If you were running a generator for example the generator would have to have an exhaust and in cooler weather the exhaust would be noticeable. This is just one of the items in the long list of vulnerabilities. If there’s an exhaust for the generator there’s also an air intake. I doubt that you would be able to have solar panels LOL and I think windmills would be out. For those who can’t figure this out they are driving machinery in and out of these mines every day, drilling equipment, explosive carrying trucks, huge loaders for loading rock on two huge trucks. Oh and just one additional fact for those that don’t understand not 50 mile straight, they may go back 10 miles but they would have branches off to the left and off to the right depending on where the land rights are. I do realize that the mining operation certainly is not like having a bunker but they also have the same issues, day to day.
