Congratulations Mike watch all your videos every week on what Is new to o gauge thank you for all your time and efforts thank you Mike Congratulations on 2 million viewers
God Bless you and God Bless Menards, both if you making valuable contributions to the betterment of the O gauge hobby! I absolutely love how you consistently show how a man on a budget can thrive in an otherwise outrageously priced hobby.
Congrats on the 2 million views. I do enjoy the videos. I have bought some of the Menards cars as well. They are not bad for the money you pay for them.
if you can find at Menards their 50' flatcar, you get working suspension, brake detailing, rotating roller bearing caps, all on diecast trucks, for $30. You have to oil the bearings pretty well but it's well worth the money.
Have purchased couple load cars of other vehicles just for the vehicles and found other use for flat car advantage of inexpensive cars 😊 good video did not know vehicles where plastic on these cars congrats on passing 2 million views 👏 😀 👍
I like the new Menard's 50's era trailer as I model mid 1950's. I suggested to Menard's to take TWO of the trailers and put them on their 14" flat car to model the MUCH more common 2 trailers on a single flat. I hope they do it....I made one myself and it looks GREAT~. Thx
I don’t normally get the 4-packs from Menards but I sprung for this one because I liked the 4 different truck designs. I got it a couple of days ago. They look good… no complaints.
Very nice! Those cars and trailers go well on almost any layout. I have their DT&I flat, with the Ford pickup and it has sprung, metal trucks. Maybe the plastic ones not only cost less, but will last just as long and be cheaper to replace. Either way, it is a good car and the trucks of that era will fit in nicely, with the time-period of my layout. An excellent video, as always.
If I were Menards, a good choice for a steamer would be a USRA light Pacific. Most railroads had something that looked similar and they could run freight or passenger service. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USRA_Light_Pacific
Using Menards' auto carriers as a guide, you would probably be looking at $35+ per car. Do you want metal trucks - add $5 per car (actually more because that would be a new design for them). Do you want interior illumination - add another $5 - $10 per car. How many passenger cars do you think they would sell at $50 each?

I like your idea!
2mil wow. It's that calm radio and tv voice did it. Along with just the facts mater of it.
Could be!
Mike, the doors on the semi trailer do open, I was shocked to find out myself! Picked up the Whirlpool set a week ago.
Well, whaddaya know! After a lot of twisting with a small screwdriver, my doors did open! Thanks for the tip!

pretty hard to beat two modern cars for 30 then you add in te semi, and it's a great deal!
I agree - a great deal!
I would what a menards steam locomotive would look like 🤔

Ok Menards has to do something interesting soon. Like make passenger cars or something
Because a less-than-$200 EMD FP7 isn't interesting?
Good point!

I'd buy that just for the tractor and trailer models, and see if anyone wanted an O-gauge flatcar or two for free.
I can see why!
