One unique trip to remember! I love this rare classic too! We had one a long time ago and believe me it is a great van to drive. Nice video!

OMG Cam & Sue - what an adventure! When you went to the bottom of the volcano on the way back, i had a hard time watching some of those driving sections. I couldn’t imagine being there for real! Really interesting and captivating commentary. Excellent job and glad you both make it home safe.

There were definitely a couple of white knuckle spots going both down and back up. Glad you enjoyed the video :)

Great to see you doing more than just turning wrenches! Great trip and i admire your willingness to do it without planning every little thing, they are the best trips. I used to do the same on a motorcycle but now use an L400 but for some reason i am now always paranoid of breaking down.

Few trips back we had a chunk of rebar go through the radiator 4-5 hour from cell service in the middle of Grand Staircase... managed to fix it with some pliers a few pieces of wood... at least well enough to get to town and "weld it properly". Breaking down has just become an expected part of out trips. Our last big trip had 18 break downs of various severity... including the whole turbo charger falling off running from a flash flood...

What an awesome adventure! Loved the vid, loved the story. I always wondered if my Delica would be a good vehicle to take to BM and now I know. You should make this a yearly event with Deli owners. I would definitely drive down from Calgary.

Cheers! If you van camp there, just be ready for about two solid days of detailing once you get home ;)

You are definitely more adventurous than I am in my Delica currently. I get concerned when my tire pressure is 2 PSI too low...😄

I think that comes with the territory... once you break down times enough it's no longer scary lol
