lol, Crystal says a bad day fishing is better then a good day at work. What about you? On your good days at work you sometimes go fishing. Can’t beat that!!!!
Loved your last 😊vidieo❤ make some more l always watch y'all, but this is the first time I comment ❤.I Always Tell my wife if we become millionaires we'll but you a bigger boat. That's how much we love ❤ your show
In my younger days we visited grandparents for a week in winter each year. Surf fished almost every day at Wabasso Beach and caught many blues and spanish mackeral. Thought tasted great! Would dig a pit and throw in, fill gunny sack on way out.
I bleed AND gut them and slushy ice them within around 5 minutes of bringing them in. I've read and it appears to be true that if you don't gut them, those powerful stomach acids start digesting the meat before too long and it all gets mushy. Now we keep every Bluefish we catch and as long as you fry, broil, grill or bake them within a few days after the bleeding and gutting, they are great, smoke em after that for A+ Fish dip. It works for me. My wife Judy and I are Jensen Beach/Stuart locals. We enjoy all of yall's videos. Keep on keepin on, 🙂
@@TugTrashOutdoors that is key to lot of fish, that people that don't like. That and cutting out that blood line, I love me some big bullred cooked in the oven with some cajun seasoning, and lemon. The key is to slow cook it and let it get tender.
We used to catch bluefish of the jetty’s in Vilano beach back in the late 80’s. They would corner the mullet on the rocks and just shred them fish. Got the brilliant idea to cast net them. Well, my net got shredded also!
Dude! If it wasn’t for bad luck we wouldn’t have any luck at all!! lol Road rangers are awesome! They saved my butt the last time we were in Florida. Still was an amazing trip! Tell Krystal congratulations on her first peacock bass!
You got it exactly right. Blues need to be bled, prepped, and eaten right off the bat. Our normal way is a smoked bluefish dip, or cooked after soaking in milk to pull some of the oily taste out of it. Another great video! Thanks as always.
Those big blue fish have teeth like Parhanas...Back in the early 80's lived in Yorktown Va...off of Chesapeake bay...those blues would come passing thru in October...we would catch them on cut up stank bunker...steel leaders...they were huge 16-20 lb..would bleed and clean em like you did get the red meat out...would bake in oven ...coat with Mayo...salt... pepper...cut up onion on top...squeeze lime or 🍋 lemon juice...delicious 😋 only came up for air while eating😂.was young then eat any fish 🐟 didn't even care 🤣 but I like the big blues baked like that.👍✅💯

Another banger!! I live in Maine and we used to catch 15-20+lb blues off the coast. I had one flopping on the deck and it hit my leg and tore me open. I didn't even feel it! Never tried eating it but I like the way you cooked it. One of the best topwater fish and yes a steel leader is required! Keep em' coming!
Bluefish is great pickled . Save the juice from good dill pickles like Clausen and fill the jar with chunks of fish . Let it sit in the fidge 3-5 days and you'll have some real good eating .
Try smashing Chiken in a Biskit and use it for a breading for fish. In Canada I forgot the breading in MN on my day for shore lunch. Had to improvise and it turned out great for pan frying Walleye.
Great Video as always..
