I never encountered real antisemitism until I met my ex's college roommates. They literally harassed him for being "Jewish" for having a bigger nose even though he wasn't Jewish by religion or ethnicity. It got to the point where my ex joined in on the rhetoric and tried to convince me that they really were running the world. This was way before the Andrew Tates and Sneakos, so who knows how many people they've convinced.

I’m a Christian and I still deal with these people like everyone else, especially my dad. He’s also homophobic and somewhat racist, much like our pal Sneako

they also think that Jews killed Jesus (Jewish authorities) which is historically very tenuous but even then that doesn’t mean we need to be punished for it 2000+ yrs later lmao. the Catholic Church didn’t stop believing in “Jewish deicide” (the idea that we will collectively be responsible for the death of Jesus forever) until the 1960s.
There are also a lot of Christians who use the knowledge that “Jesus was a Jew” to appropriate our holidays and traditions, even though Jesus was a second temple Jew who had never even heard of most modern holiday traditions bc rabbinic Judaism did not exist yet.

Highly recommend! That Austrian moustache guy was just recycling those conspiracy theories, and now these young dudes are doing the same. Though they have a lot of company in the conspiracy community, anti vaxxers, and the more openly fascist people.
(A famous anti vaxxer was caught on tape revealing to her new "friend" the whole thing about global elites. The "friend" just happened to be an undercover journalist. That's mostly why I'm referring to anti vaxxers being also antisemites. And when you consider how often these "vaccine sceptics" talk about the global elites, or similar concept...)

The idea that Jews are well organized to me is laughable because besides not liking anti-semitism, We tend to be very divided on a lot of different political issues. We aren’t a monolith. Some Jewish people’s political views are influenced by their faith, and that’s seen as a bad thing by gentiles, yet when Christianity influences a Christian’s politics, it’s not treated the same way. There are many Jews I do not like, but it’s because their actions and opinions are shitty, not because of their Jewishness. Like if you ask a Jewish person what their opinion on Israel is, even those who live in Israel will give different answers depending on what they believe. So the way Anti-semites try to get around the idea of Jews not being a monolith is saying, “No no, we don’t hate those good Religious Jews, we hate the International Jewry” which is repeating the same Nazi talking points. Anti-semitism is inherently eliminationist, hateful people tend to not differentiate between “Good” and “Bad” when it comes to the group they hate. “Good Religious Jews” were never spared from Pogroms and Genocide. Once you start dehumanizing people as a monolithic evil, it becomes easier to justify horrific treatment of that people.

A personal story from my own jewish life. When I was in high school, I had a solo for a choir concert. During my solo on the night of the performance, another student in the audience stood up and shouted a slur at me multiple times (the 'k' word). Nobody intervened, and he never faced repercussions for it. I felt so alone.
At the same high school, my history teacher told me and a fellow jewish student that he was going to send us to our high school's concentration camp. Again, he faced no consequences for making such a comment. He was good buddies with the principal, who protected him from any repercussions.
This shit is real, and it's still happening. We need to be aware of it. We jews have been scapegoats many times throughout history, and those who know history know that unchecked bigotry leads to massive tragedy.

This is a very human thing. I am sorry for your experience. Truth is, humans tend to attack identity as supposed to doing specific things to address certain actions done by people of any given group. It's an evolutionary L honestly. "Police kill, blacks steal, jews steal"- These are general statements based on stereotypes meant to generalize. While there is nothing wrong with you or anyone you know who IS jewish, there are a specific group of people with genuine power over "a lot" thanks to finance. These people identify more with the money they make but they just so happen to be jewish. There are others who aren't jewish, which let's someone like me know that someone like you isn't at fault since we share the identity of being "common"

Trying to listen to Sneako in a debate is an exercise in extreme patience. He has no ideas, he has no sources for his views besides Nick Fuentes said it or "it's the opposite of whatever the government tells you." His arguments always circle back to his feelings, and then he shouts over the other person insulting them, etc. My favorite were the times he ragequit Destiny streams because he was getting his ass handed to him. Satanism was treated as a religion, what he believed was that we all go to hell, but the better we where morally the more powerful we would be in hell. The guy wasn't some unhinged maniac who sacrificed babies, he just prayed to satan rather than a god, he believed that there is a god but that he doesn't interfere with earth at all, he just created earth and left it, not intending for humans to even exist. Glad you're talking about this. I used to be a huge fan of Sneako, way before he started his crazy TH-cam pipeline. Back then he actually made pretty thoughtful, inspirational content, but then he started doing the most outrageous shit, which eventually lead to his downfall. The start of his downfall for me was when he made a video bullying D'Angelo Wallace for no other reason rather than jealousy. He then made a video calling Cuties his favorite film, began having more contrarian and misogynistic points in his videos and basically exposed himself for beginning an unhealthy open relationship with his ex just so he could fuck other women. I remember one particular video on his main channel, where he sat with an Orthodox Jewish guy for an interview, and as that guy got uncomfortable and stepped out of the interview (for whatever reason) Sneako hurled the word "Jew" at him. This should've been the first red flag for me about his views on Jewish people. That was a short time before he began his 2nd channel.
I think it's a depressing case, because Sneako is clearly sad and lost. His downward spiral functions as a way for him to keep structure in his life while keeping his online presence relevant in the process. He's choosing the easy way out of his crisis by following other people's frameworks and calling himself a free thinker, but I think that if he really wants to find purpose in his life he should go out and look for it like he did before and view the world through his own eyes.

I can’t see any more antisemitism so I probably won’t watch, but here’s a comment for engagement!
I’m not descended from Holocaust survivors. All my ancestors made it to America before it started. They escaped pogroms though. The largest and most violent pogrom in Europe, which destroyed almost an entire city, was where my great grandmother was from.
My great grandfather grew up in an orphanage because his mother couldn’t afford to feed all five of her kids. My grandfather worked as a telephone repairman. He got audited by the IRS and his bank was frozen because “you can’t possible be supporting 10 children on so little money. You must be committing fraud.” My mom grew up on food stamps, lived in tiny apartments underneath train tracks with the red light district outside her door. And me? I get told “Rosenberg eh? So you’ve got Money Money.”
Funny how racism is okay when it’s towards Jews. Funny how when I get harassed by my coworkers with Holocaust jokes my manager says “she doesn’t mean anything by it.”
All I can say is Am Yisrael Chai

The thing about the Matrix conspiracy that always bugged me is that, realistically wouldn't the Matrix create a program that makes people think that they've woken up and disconnected from the Matrix, just so people don't actually find a way to get outside the Matrix? Its like they already create a program that make people believes their living a normal life, why not create the opposite to make people still stuck in the matrix?

Antisemitism is getting worse and worse every single year, here in the present. It didn't disappear after the Shoah. And everyone forgets it. I've been called a slur at work and random customers went on and on about antisemitic sh¡t because of my Hebrew name(which I recently changed because I can't stand it anymore)

I am so sorry this shit is out of control. That you changed your name just to avoid hate and danger that breaks my ❤️. I often think hard about if I should try to leave the country. I feel like we might have to just to be safe.

The conspiracies these people believe end up being the sort of “Spooky Mysteries” you’d look up on TH-cam when you were a kid.
Just got to the Nick Fuentes part. He retweeted me once when I’d tweeted with a campaign that was about being proud of using birth control. He said something like: “women use IUDs so they can fuck other men while they’re with their partner”
His reply section was kind of sickening. I couldn’t read much, I don’t know why I looked.

Super sorry that you went through that. This comment resonated with me alot since I'm also using and IUD, it fucking sucks that people are trying to tear down all the safegaurds that women have when it comes to our bodily autonomy and twist it into ammo as an argument against our rights, its very pathetic.

The cycle is repeating. I remember being a middle schooler during the gamergate days. Instead of people like Nick Fuentes and Sargon of Akkad, we have Sneako and the top G himself, Andrea Tatertot. Same shit different day

i grew up in a deeply conservative area in the mid 2000s. a kid i knew was very proud his grandfather (or great grandfather, don’t remember) was a literal nazi during ww2
he drew a swastika on the gym floor and talked about it (we were like 6 or 7 at the time). this was always my biggest “wtf” story about growing up there but now that wild antisemitism that kid and his family spouted is becoming more and more common it’s insane

There were swastikas all over my school drawn everywhere. So a kid I knew started drawing over them. He'd draw SpongeBob or Tweety Bird. Always heavily detailed cartoon characters over them. It was actually heartwarming ❤
