She was killed because she would not tell the Sheriff where Wallace was after he had killed several English soldiers in Lanack. I just wish they left in the part where scarface dude says "Im here to claim the right of a husband!" and totally guts the dude. I also love the scene where dude gets a helmet hammered into his head and blood shoots on the camera lens. So many great scenes in this flick.

When the home movie came out, I had just bought a Bose lifestyle 12 system. I loved watching this movie with how great the sound was. Jurassic Park was also around the same time. This movie is more about the sound than it is about the visual elements.
