    There is something so special about your layouts that are just so cute. Love them because they are perfect for a counter space. Big layouts are great but take almost a whole room. I love that you go really slow and show us everything up close. Thank you Carl…..

    I finally made it over here to see your Christmas Village. I loved it. I can't think of anything that could have made it better. I'm glad you will make one for this upcoming Christmas. I can't wait to see it.

    I feel stupid…I only saw your Halloween displays and said I would love to see a Christmas display! Guess I should have looked back further! Love your creativity! I am currently working on an Alpine/ Bavarian/ Oktoberfest village! I know…what a mix! Love your villages!

    Wow, I’m doing my first layout and have changed it so I have room for sidewalks and front yards. It makes all the difference. Thank you.

    I love all your Christmas Lane houses. The are so pretty and festive. The starry back is perfect. And the platform you created with each house having its own cobblestone walkway is awesome. Thanks for sharing Carl. I 'liked it.

    The displays are absolutely beautiful! Thanks again for sharing your process (I still have to watch a couple more of those tutorials). Your work gives me inspiration to try more with my own little Christmas village.

    Thank you for all the instructional videos. They are very helpful in me trying my first village this year (although I probably won’t get done).

    Hi, I have bought some houses from the original snow village, without paying attention what lane, road, or series they belong to. I just picked them up based on whether I liked them or not. I also purchased the Griswold house, without knowing it comes from a funny movie. Do you think that is ok?

  • @giannis6552
    @giannis6552 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi there, I have just stated my collection and I got some of those you have. But I think I might like the Christmas in the city series more now. This is a trouble cause I have already spent a lot of money. What do you think ?

    • @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl
      @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha-welcome to my world! I also like Christmas in the City, but have simply decided I can’t collect everything! Best of luck in your decision-whichever you choose, you’ll be happy because they’re all nice!!!

    • @giannis6552
      @giannis6552 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Halloween Villages by Carl yes , thank you ! It is true that every piece I get I do love it in a special way, despite that I have seen it in other videos.

    • @giannis6552

      @Halloween Villages by Carl one more question please. Do you find that the glossy look on snow village items is fine as compared to the more matte finish of the Christmas in the city series ?

    • @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl
      @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I actually prefer the matte finish on anything Dept 56. To me, it looks better and is more realistic in my opinion.

    Carl, Lovely venue. Does each house belong to a bigger set?

    • @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl
      @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not that I’m aware of…all individual pieces.

      @@travisrhoton7013 ah…they are all part of the Original Snow Village series. Some are from the Christmas Lane, subset of that series

    Do you have any aspirations of adding a nice O gauge train to your layouts?

    • @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl
      @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Negative-no room and not that much into trains.

    • @tstanley01

    Can you tell me the dimensions of the table you used for your set up?

    • @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl
      @HalloweenVillagesbyCarl  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello-this is setup on our dining room hutch. It’s just over 10 feet long and about 2 feet in depth.

    • @giannis6552
      @giannis6552 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HalloweenVillagesbyCarl thank you. Space is limited in my apartment. It is very hard for me to find space for my set up. The biggest available space i have is for a table of 5.9 feet in length and 2.45 in depth. I have 10 houses and quite a few of trees and accessories. They won't fit very well on that.

      You can make that work-it’ll be a little more crowded, but it’ll look good!
