Indeed he could handle metal and anything else in the music spectrum. The power, finesse, technicality as well as the simplicity at times makes this dude one of my Mount Rushmore of drummers
wait a sec -- weren't you guys on tour with Cannibal Corpse and Krisiun in 2016 when I shot the episode with Paul in Wiesbaden and filmed those 2 Krisiun liveclips?
I'm not the drummer of the band in which is my screen name. I just happen to dig them and the name so much I use that for TH-cam. Don't mean to be misleading lol
Chris is such a powerhouse!! I love listening to him play simple in the pocket. Even though he plays all styles at a master level I can still see him playing metal. One of the best in the game!!
Ive been a fan of coleman for years now! He's one of those guys that can play anything and is also able to express it musically, which is not something every drummer can do. He truly is a drummers drummer.
Lol...there's literally nothing about Chris Coleman that makes him different from any other technical nerd on youtube... That's what you nerds will never understand: there's more to music than what is written on the page. Some people will work even harder than Chris and never be able to play like this. That is a fact of psychology.
That's one of the main problems of the people who doesn't get what they want and don't know why. You don't have to work that HARD, you have to work RIGHT

I don't even know who this guy is, but I think he's one of the most awe inspiring drummers I've ever seen.
I'm sold!

What an incredibly musical sounding kit across the board!
I could watch this all day
Alonso V. me too
Chris vaporized his drum set at around 3:50. He's amazing to watch.....time, speed and power. He's got it all.
Chris for president!
Independence...power....touch...feel....timing. There is no one better in the world. Period.
This is just magnificent. Condensed beauty.
Some say Chris is still trying to adjust the volume to this day

This song is so fun, anyone can tell, where can find the drumless edition?

He even chews his gum on time 😂
He learned From the master Dennis Chambers ! I saws Dennis in 1985 in the UK DOING VILLAGE GIGS, same spirit.
sweet...
Does anyone know where i can find/purchase the backing track to this (drumless)?
Com certeza esse é um Don de Deus
I'd love to know which model of Sonor this is - it's got Sound Sustainer tom mounts but the SQ1 never came in a white colour... I'm confused.
Maybe it's the cruiser blue but with the lighting kinda looks whitish?
This was when Chris was still playing the Sonor SQ2 brother
Meinl fans , what is Chris' main crash cymbal ?
Shaquille Noel If I'm not mistaken, in one of his videos he said he uses a 18" Meinl Byzance medium thin brilliant crash.
damn..
This dudes energy...and this is solo??
Yh..u can certaintly pound those skins fella...bravo
Tu Eres mi favorito
I’ve tried many times to play with my Toms flat. I always seem to hit the rim more than anything when trying to go around the Toms lol
rimshots on a tom are not necessarily a bad thing.... :-)
drumtalk no I mean I completely miss the Tom and justnhit the rim because I don’t lift my arms high enough... shit that means I need to sit higher!
Hi, My name is Fabio. I'm from Brazil.
Where do I get the play along of this song?
What time signature was it during the solo part ?
最高だ
what tempo is that? it seems 4/4 but the piano seems in other tempo signarue for times to time. I like it.
Moises Jimenez the piano is in 5/4 I believe.
Krishna Bhola, Thanks.
Nope.... is actually 6/4... and a couple of sections in 4/4
Love you dude.
Pasadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Years later I realized his drums are tilted awsy from him, just slightly
2:43
Did he just say dog shit at the end?
Dr. Feelgood He said 'dankeschön', which is german and means 'thank you'. :)
Wtf man xD Awesomely misheard xD
Haha :D I think he said "Danke schön" = german for "thank you". But it actually sounds like dog shit. Maybe a mixture of both. :D
/watch?v=H1BKxYyJJJ4 ;)
Control.
I didn’t see any credit go to Kaz Rodriguez for this track...
