Ohhhhhh Brixton. Awesome tips guys! Barrio is right next to Blue's Kitchen, when it's too crowded in there, go to Barrio if you guys haven't been yet-- good cocktails and always great DJs! And their staff are super nice.
The video was edited brilliantly But It feels like you have just read what time out has told you. What's really great about Brixton didn't feature in any of this video. Fresh juices for £6 you can go to the market and find Grandma Roslyn who stays up all night baking to sell cakes on the market and grandad who makes fresh juices and sells them for £1.50 thats what's good..Also a South American cafe whole in the wall selling amazing empanadas for £1.20 these are just a couple of places that I can mention, you really overlooked what's good in Brixton and went for the well known tourist spots. It's videos like this that will/are damaging are community . People will watch this and go to the places you suggest walking past what's truly good about Brixton. I really appreciate what you are doing but I feel you need to do more research and involve the local community and the businesses that have been there for years who now struggle due to these new restaurants that are popping up and getting all this free advertisement.

Head west! Acton (local market, Japanese community, that pub with a circus, depot, etc) and Shepherd's Bush (a toned down Camden) seem like they could be right up your alley. Maybe also Hounslow, Uxbridge, and when Ealing Broadway is done up?
Just noticed an error. Brixton is very much in South London, not South West London. South West is the Wimbledon, Kingston, Richmond etc - completely different vibe. Can you make videos about Clapham in south west, Hammersmith in west, and Camden Town and Kentish Town in north west (particularly the high street, the market and revisit the canal), and Hoxton and Dalston somewhere in the east. By the way, that pub in Acton, Aeronaut, went up in flames on New Year's. :[

Please don't get it confused. The guy stating that the guys working in the Negril restaurant are dancing/listening to Reggaeton is false! They are dancing to reggae music NOT reggaeton. Reggae music is the original music of Jamaica whilst reggaeton is a fusion of reggae and South American music that was formed AFTER reggae became popular worldwide. I just wanted to clarify that misinformation. No hating here.

I feel sorry for those who have invested in property in this area... what a trap ... Just this morning crossed the market to go to work ... and there's a stabbing in plain daylight with some looser being arrested... police car search just outside M&S ... and a crazy lady shitting on a corner in the in Brixton Market .... It seems like some things will never change... 🤔
It's not just Brixton though. One of the 2nd years from my university was killed in Knightsbridge recently, near Harrods. It's no longer based in historically "troublesome" areas. The violence is spreading throughout London and into traditionally low-crime rural areas too
