Nice job. What you are modelling for students is the need to keep things simple and keep going. I find that the worst problem for many kids is an internal panic because they are impatient and overcomplicate things. Taking a deep breath to think clearly and going one step at a time works very well. Sadly, not enough kids get that point.

Imho you could skip the calculations from 6:18, since log_b(a) = c by definition is equivalent to a = b^c. Therefore log_7(x) = 5 is equivalent to x = 7^5 and log_7(x) = -2 is equivalent to x = 7^(-2).

I think a minor mistake has crept in while putting bracket in factorisation.

- sign in factorisation is wrong. Secondly eliminating log is lenthy process, it could be done in one step. Logx to base 7=5can be written as. X=7^5.
