Hello Harbor Hospice volunteers!
I wanted to take a moment to personally say thank you to each of you for all you do for Harbor Hospice, Harbor Palliative Care, and the Harbor Hospice Foundation, our community, and our patients and their families.
I see all that you do, and your time is valued and appreciated.
I hear about the difference you are making when you send a card to a patient and it’s comforting for them.
Your presence is felt and needed at the Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence.
The time you so freely give for respite is life-changing and good for the soul. It helps to recharge and tell the caregiver, “We see you and we hear you”.
Thank you for sitting with our patients in silence. For being a calming presence in what is potentially their loudest moments.
