    Great video. I've just got one, second hand a couple of weeks ago. So no instructions or anything. Thanks buddy.

    Just the video i needed! played CQB today and tons of people were using these, felt abit ripped off when i walked in with 30 quid worth of mk5s lol

      Yeah, but when you head outdoors with those mk5’s and the quake uses are rooting through a bush for their missing grenade… Who’s laughing now?

    If it does go off, is it dangerous to then pick up? And do you turn it to safe or leave as is?

      If it does go off you can pick it up with no issue. Leave it in the chamber it’s just detonated and it will be basically inert. Then move it onto the next chamber in line to deploy it again. I only put it back onto safe when I’ve loaded it in the safe area. If you put it back to safe everytime you can quickly lose track of which chamber is the next live one.
      If it fails to detonate. It’s mostly safe to pick back up. Keep your fingers away from the vents at the bottom, that’s where any blast will come from. Try not to knock the knocker and put it back into safe. You can then unscrew the base to inspect the failed primer. Sometimes it is just a light strike and a second use of the primer will detonate it

    Does it matter what primers u use? I know .209 but what brand is best for the quake? Because, we use them but we have a lot off missfires. 90% no bang

    • @magaz
      @magaz  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It shouldn't, but I've only used Fiocchi primers, so I don't have any experience with other brands. I've had some missfires with it, mainly down to either landing on something soft or like I mentioned in the video, one of the ends not being screwed in properly.

      We have 6 quake and all 6 have the same problem. 90% off the time the don’t go off. Used different primers, thronebreaker them really high and hard but nothing makes them work properly. If we would through them like u did indoors, they will never go off. Really strange. For is at this moment a waste of money 😢

      @@jorisdunon1that’s crazy. I wonder if they came from a certain batch that may have a manufacturing issue?

      From my understanding, Fife Wargames will ship these to the US. You may be able to find a US based retailer that has already imported them.

    Would you say its helpful to put back spin on it when letting go

    • @magaz
      @magaz  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      With the rules about how you can and can’t throw them at most sites, they aren’t going more than say six feet. Some just hoofing it straight down at the floor should be fine.
