Any idea how these things would do with Kudzu vines. I’d love to get the specs on one of these and just fabricate my own. of course I’d have to research the parts needed and see if it’s worth fabbing one or buying one.
I just bought a used DR 44 in.-20 hp. I like your idea with the hitch coupler. Does it stop the mower from riding up and down? I have some land about the same as yours but with alder trees and 6-10 inch pot holes, any tips? Thanks!

I have the 20 hp v twin. Never had it stop on me. 3.5 inch pines no problems.

Do you have the heavy blade on that? Apparently there’s 2 different blades from DR.

I have had mine for approximately 15 years. Just rebuilt carb and have replaced the blades once. I have 5 acres. I usually mow 3 to four times a year.
