This stationary pallet changer can operate without tilting or rotating the product. Below, are some examples of products that this pallet changer can handle:
Boxes, vials, containers, bowls, bottles, packages, big bags, big boxes, barrels, paper barrels, buckets, cans, reels, large cartons, paper rolls, plywood etc.
The Side Mover is a stationary pallet changer that replaces the pallet by using lateral pressure to slightly lift, then move the product. Each Side mover is equipped with padded clamps that slowly and delicately press against the product. These clamps will never damage it due the possibility of direct adjustment by means of a pressure gauge or a pressure selector pre-set to four positions. Once the product is safely lifted, the side mover will then move the load onto the desired pallet positioned by its side.
It’s able to handle fragile products, which cannot be turned or tilted. It can also withstand a maximum weight of 3300 lbs and pallet dimensions up to 48×40 Inches.
The pallet changing operation takes place through lateral pressure being applied to the product and lifting it to facilitate the transition from one pallet to another.
In order to start the pallet changing operation, the operator places the load onto the machine and then places the new pallet next to it, where the load will be transferred to.
Both pallets are placed side by side to facilitate the transfer of the load from one pallet to another. In fact, the product is pressed and blocked laterally by two padded clamps that facilitate the transition. This model can perform the operation without turning or tilting the products. The Stationary “Side Mover” can handle products up to a maximum of 3300 lbs, due to the gentle pressure applied on the load and due to the possibility of direct adjustment by a pressure gauge or a pressure selector.
In addition, the “Side Mover” is also available in the mobile version, for those who do not have a specific area dedicated to pallet changing operations.
Safety

Our stationary pallet inverters are supplied with safety systems that do not allow access to the operators in the area in front of the machine. These are optional systems such as metal perimeter protection nets and safety photocells to limit access.
