A legislator of a third-world country should earn at most five hundred thousand naira(500,000 Naira), allowances included. Their official vehicles should not be more than a Volkswagen" BEETLES, "that is, if they must drive a foreign car. Also, their allowances should be reviewed every three years as they grow up with ideas to develop the country, like their counterparts in the West. We are all talking about minimum wages, does it occur to us that , the best way to increase minimum wages are price control and push for the purchasing power of the Naira, by making the products available to the people.
We can’t continue to use the price of rice to compare our food products.
Other food substitutes should be promoted in our society.
