  • In this video we discuss about confocal microscopy their basics, principle, working and applications.
    Confocal microscopy is an optical imaging technique for increasing optical resolution and contrast of a specimen by means of using a spatial pinhole to block out-of-focus light in image formation thus helps in specific location identification within cell or specimen.
    It is an updated version of fluorescence microscopy.
