- Lamplight Lounge is a restaurant that greets guests as they enter Pixar Pier. The theme centers around different Pixar properties and the creative process that's gone into making these timeless classics.
The appetizers, entrees and drinks here are highly regarded by Disney aficionados and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to dine here during our first night at the Disneyland Resort. We try out some of Lamplight Lounge's signature dishes including their burger, Lobster Nachos, Kung Pao Bao, Disney100 Cocktail and more!
To cap the night off we park hopped to Disneyland and saw their new Nighttime Spectacular, Wondrous Journeys, for the very first time. It was an emotional night filled with great food, laughs and one of a kind entertainment. See our thoughts, review and full experience on the first night of our California vacation.

We had the secret room at the Lamplight Lounge, it was awesome experience! We had a party of 8, and we all enjoyed our food too. The secret room, also had a private balcony, looking out at the incrediacoster, and we would wave to the guest, before they were launched, It defiantly an experience to remember. Really enjoy your vlogs!!

Wondrous Journeys is legitimately my favorite fireworks show. Really hope you and Chrissy can catch it one day because it really was that good. I can attest to all the food tasting as good as it looked 😃. Excited to see you guys soon for your WDW trip!

It was all so good but we definitely ordered way too much 😆. The design is a lot of fun and highlighting Pixar Animation made the atmosphere feel so unique!

last time I was at the lamplight lounge was before it was changed. I was there when it was Arials Grotto when it was an charector dining. have not been back since it was changed. It is nice to park hop from one park to another. The last time I was there was pre pandemic. It was just as magical then as now.
Oh wow, we've heard such fun and amazing things about Ariel's Grotto. Wish we could've experienced it before the turn over. Lamplight Lounge is amazing though. Definitely packs in the magic and delicious eats. Hope you can try out the new take on this spot one day soon 😃. Park Hopping at Disneyland is superior to any other park I've been to, so convenient.
It was. You also got to have a princess meet and greet as well. I plan to try it out on my next trip in the future.

Next time you all go there get the Potato Skins! That's my favorite item, its more like potato slices than traditional potato skins.

@Theme Park Foodies I eat alot of Korean food and I agree there sometimes it's unbelievably spicy ty.
Lamplight theming is top notch! We also enjoyed some mocktails including the 2319. The Disney 100 cocktail was not there yet but I would def have tried it. I love a gin with floral notes. Bao buns were so good, “too much pow”. 😂 barely got all that food on the table. The salad presentation was so fancy! So cool that you got some souvenir coasters. Park hopping is the move in DL!
If you're a gin fan I definitely recommend trying to get the Disney100 cocktail when you can. I'm not a fan of gin in particular and I thought it was great. The Bao was great! Unfortunately I think they may have sprinkled a bit too many red pepper flakes on them for Sam and I. Wish they could have staggered the pace the food came out but thankfully it all fit. Thr coasters here were really cool! Happy we have a bunch now. The accessibility of park hopping here makes it a lot more valuable as a ticket add-on in my mind.
I'm surprised u guys didn't get any of the secret menu drinks... the neverland tea and Melrose place are my favs ... it's been 6 years for us not being back to land... going later this year tho..... honestly i only go back home for land and being 10 from world now its not such a need especially with all the California politics 😮 but glad u guys had fun

Love DCA! 🎉 Sam I love your slinky dog ears. So cute. Lamplight Lounge is such an incredible stop to eat, it was my favorite place we ate on our California trip. Nice they were able to move you to a better spot! I took the coasters home, I love them haha! The 2319 looks lovely. We had the nachos and bao buns too and I still dream of both 😍 I loved the the bao myself but it definitely had a pao haha! 😂 those nachos are incredible though. A 7 is a great score for the salad! The theming is so great and I love the food. We missed all the night shows in DL. This looks absolutely incredible. Definitely have to see next time. Fantastic video you guys! Making me hungry!
Sam was prepared for the Slinky Dog representation this day! We were really happy they brought us a stack of coasters as souvenirs and felt lucky they were able to accomodate us with the table. All the food here was high quality and we really want to come back for the nachos. I think they may have added a little extra pao to our bao 😆. Atmosphere and theme here felt intimate which I think matches Pixar's asthetic. I feel like it's so easy to miss the nighttime entertainment here since most of the time they only have shows on weekends. We can attest to it being some of the best though. Thank you! Love the “ears”, Sam! 😂 Very Pixar-appropriate! I feel like we got super lucky with our Lamplight Lounge reservation. We did get it 60 days in advance, but we typically do all of our reservation nabbing that far in advance - so it doesn’t really feel like a hassle. That said, we didn’t have to fight for lamplight lounge and it was actually one of the last reservations I made that morning; lucky thing everyone else was asleep, I guess! The D100 cocktail looks beautifully floral and elegant, perfect way to celebrate the 100th! Not a huge fan of lobster, but those nachos looked fantastic. We loved our Kung Pao Bao, too 🤤 I think the corn fritters we ate at the Cozy Cone earlier on raised our spice tolerance for the rest of the day; so for us the Kung Pao Bao was pretty mellow! Everyone is different, though. There is definitely such a thing as too much Pao! 👊🏻 Love the theming in Lamplight, as well as across the whole of Pixar Pier. Also fully agree that park hopping is amazing in the California parks. Wondrous looked - well, wondrous! ✨ Great video, guys!
Had to have some Slinky Dog representation when we went to Lamp Light Lounge. Happy we both had luck in snagging a reservation here. The Disney100 cocktail was definitely on point and the nachos weren't very Lobster forward if you're ever interested in the future. Everything seemed much more up scale than offerings at a typical lounge. I think what happened with the Kung Pow is that ours had more red pepper flakes than yours. When I watched your video I didn't see any on top but it looks like ours were covered. I don't see Red Pepper flakes in the description but that's definitely the flavor I was getting on that spice and you can see them in our Broll shots. Either way, great Bao Buns. Theming here was fun. We definitely want to come back and not film next time so we can take in the atmosphere. Wondrous Journeys was incredible. Not sure if you guys are fire works fans but in my opinion it's the best Nighttime Spectacular I've seen from Disney. Thank you 😃.

How do they go about seating ? We plan to sit outside upper level
You can try to request seating but they are not always able to accommodate.
The seating at the outside upper level is separate from the Lamplight Lounge main area that this video is shot in, its the Boardwalk Dining section and is walk-up only
