@@tubby_1278 most of the red dragon casino/bars (I believe owned by dotty’s) have pachinko machines and you can play for an hour for 5 bucks. I have been to one in the asian area west of the strip and played the machines. There were a few in disrepair, however when I was in the USA for a year I was able to get my pachinko fix. Let me know if you go and you should post a yt video about it so we can see the machines they have.

Honestly, it all depends on the kind of machine you play. All pachinkos you insert the money, buy some balls (1 or 4 yen/cents per ball) and try to earn more balls. When you cash out, you redeem your balls for these cards that have a gold bar inside valued at 500-5,000 yen (5.00-50.00 dollars). Example is If you cashed out 10,000 balls, you would get gold bars = to the denomination you are playing (if you were playing 1 yen =10,000 yen 4 = 40,000 yen/ 100.00 or 400.00 dollars)
Most pachinkos you land a ball in the "slot" hole with spins the slot and if you have 3 matching numbers, you win a bonus. bonuses can be bigger or smaller (usually the machine will say something along the lines of big or small bonus.). Some pachinkos (called hanemono type) depend on where the ball lands to award a bonus and take way more skill and timing. Over all, pachinko and pachislots are fun and pretty interactive and more enjoyable versus playing your typical casino slot machine.

What do you do when you have 10,000 balls in hand and don’t know any Japanese?
First of all, my Japanese is terrible. I actually made a pachinko tutorial video. You don’t need to know any Japanese to play. However, it would not be a negative to know a bit. If you live in Japan and want to try it out, I highly recommend starting out with a game similar to the one I played because it’s pretty easy to understand. If you are on a rush and have 10k balls, do not stop until your rush is done! I’ve seen people just beginning make that mistake and miss out on lots of money.

Validusy I don’t necessarily know about it being faster. You go into a real casino with 100 bucks playing realistic ($2.00 or higher) wagers on slots, it can hit 100+ in a single spin. In pachinko, it takes longer to payout wins, however, pachinko has a lot more “excitement” elements to it. This is how it’s meant to be. Gambling is supposed to “entertainment”. I believe pachinko exceeds normal slots in terms of that excitement element.
Dsper Fk dsp I agree. This is the entertainment pachinko provides. It’s just like how game centers here in japan have the medal games (coin pushers and coin games where you can get more coins back). They have a huge entertainment aspect to them and this is the reason so many people enjoy playing them.

@Daan Made in Holland 40ish per bonus. Normally pachinko wins on high stakes machines come out to round 2400 balls. Each ball is worth 1-4 yen depending on the denom you’re playing.
