I'm SO glad you keep reacting to George's biggest hits and yes this song is ICONIC. You're so right that he's left such a big mark on pop music that you don't even realize sometimes that songs and sounds you know (the sax in Careless Whisper, the chorus in Wake Me Up Before You Go Go) came from him. Your next one should be "Faith." It was one of his biggest hits and I bet you'll recognize parts of it too. 😉 LOVE your reactions as always. ❤️
This what I like to call a feel good song. Its got great energy.
You've heard this song in so many movies. This was in Charlie's Angel, Zoolander, The Wedding Singer, The Family Guy, etc. It was also his first Billboard number one!
Wham! Was the pop group George was in with Andrew Ridgeley (a duo group). They were the most commercially successful pop group of the 80s and the first pop act to be invited to play in communist China.

That song was played on Zoolander…when they are driving and go to the gas station and pouring gasoline all over each other before they blew up
