- Halloween Special riding my Harley Davidson through the haunted hills of Winnats pass, the scene of the gruesome murders of Allen and Clara. PLEASE LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE! xx
This vlog was cursed, I had 3 attempts at filming this, the first attempt the road was closed, 2nd attempt I got caught in a massive rain storm, still managed to record only to then lose the footage on the computer. Even this attempt the GoPro stopped working. - they did not want this story told!

Hope you enjoy the story guys! It was a nightmare to film, closed roads, heavy heavy rain, lost gopro footage and even the gopro stopped working in the last attempt...spooky! Hope you enjoy and let me know your thoughts below and please share some ghost stories!!
Loved it!
Wow I enjoyed the story very much very interesting and I enjoy watching you ride through the beautiful countryside
@@cliftondaniel6573 Thanks Clifton, glad you enjoyed the video. More to come hopefully. What do you ride?
@@BunnyKingHogs I Ride Harley Davidson and that is all that I ride I have four of them thanks for asking sweetheart
Bunny King Hogs, sad story indeed. A couple of my ancestors eloped to Gretna Green which had a similar attitude towards eloping couples but they were much luckier and enjoyed a long and happy life, raising a large family and living happily ever after. On a practical note, watching you ride over wet cattlegrids and being very used to them on Exmoor, I will just mention that advanced Police motorcyclists are trained to de-clutch as they ride over them, particularly when wet. Useful tip.
Thanks for the tip, will make sure I do that next time. Some fascinating history in the area. Can't wait to start riding again after lockdown. Thanks for sharing your family history
that scenery is OUTSTANDING! WOW! spectacular countryside! thanks for the story and putting up with the elements! keep up the good work!
Thank you AB, its getting harder to find decent riding days
@@BunnyKingHogs indeed it is..... same here Boo!!!!!
Wow 300 miles would have taken ages. Geez those cars drive close to you. Cool riding up through the pass. That's terrible what happened to Alan & Clara. So sad. May they RIP. How funny was the sheep 🐑 on the road. Yes would be very spooky area at night 👻.Wow that saddle is really old-school. Nice old church in the cemetary 👍
Thanks Michael, yes it was such a sad story. The vlog was cursed, had to do it 3 times!! thanks 😊 for watching
Great bit of reseach and fascinating story. You explained it brilliantly considering you were riding the narrow busy roads through Castleton and Winnats on wet roads! Well done.
Glad you enjoyed it! The story was cursed, I did it 3 times! One was stuck in traffic,, 2nd attempt rained like mad but still did it but lost the footage when the computer died.
👻 🎃 💀 Interesting story and historic tale. Keep up the great vlogs and stay safe riding.
Thanks bobby! Glad you enjoyed it
WOW, those grave stones! Love your vlogs, so different and interesting. Enjoyed this one, always nice to hear a good old ghost story.
Thanks again!
Such a cheerful story... Keep them coming!
Haha, it was so sad but super cool to see the actual saddle in the musuem
Captivating story! Sad too! I love visiting old graveyards too! I always carry my protective crystals with me, sounds like you need some! LOL!!Good video, bummer about the rain and gopro issue.
Thanks Harley Gurl, facinating insight into our past reading the gravestones. I felt this vlog was doomed, the curse of the miners.
Bunny King Hogs I had no ghostly events in my latest video of a cemetery
Love the story and the area. Very nicely done young lady 👍
Thank you kindly Rollin Stone!
Wow - love this. Harleys and history/ghost stories! Thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it, I had fun filming it although the actual filming was cursed, had to do it 3 times!!
A ghostly story well told. keep it up your doing fab.ride safe and keep the rubber on the road
Likewise, with these slippy roads....eek. Thanks for watching!
A gruesome story in such picturesque country side. Its great to see you showing the history of the area 👍 Ride safe on those slippery roads.
Thanks 👍, glad you enjoyed it. It is becoming harder and harder now to find nice days to ride.
19 year old goth BlacktopDevil would have spent hours in that graveyard. 🤘 Super cool
They are facinating places full of History. Tbinking about things now, i have a few graveyards in my videos...hmmm. thanks for watching
Great story. Loved the old church and Cemetery too
Thanks Chip, really old grave yard, i spent some time reading the headstones.
That great, very interesting. We have ridden through Winnats pass a few years back. Wish I had know that story then. Love the sound effects 👻☠💀
Stunning Area to ride. Apparently the story was written into a song...not heard but have read about it. I am sure Brian will appreciate someone noticing them.
Brilliant :-) love the roads up there, history content is a bonus. The other gold up there is the Yonderman for a good feed, ride safe always keeping sunnyside up 😁😎
Thank you Jay Cee! Are you local? Appreciate the tip for the Yonderman, might make a trip out there when lockdown is done
Stockport😁just seen this facebook.com/240433096062805/posts/3151110278328391/ you're becoming famous 😁
Fascinating story! Loved it!! Sure are some narrow roadways there though 😯
Tell me about it! And those roads were super slippery
The eyes of justice are always watching!
They sure are, karma HAHA. Thanks for watching!
Great wee story 😁enjoyed the video Carolyne. You where brave parking on top of the leaf covered road 😀
Absolutely terrific ride and great narration of such a tragic story. Thanks for fighting thru the camera problems to provide such amazing views and experience. Seems to me Francis and James had the worst fate. Forced to live with guilt until their bitter end.
Thanks Motopappy. Agree with you completely, the guilt killed them over a long time. Thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed this video! Great work on your part to bring us this tragic story! Glad you were able to soldier through all the camera issues and get the video completed!! Well Done!!
Hi Carolyne. Greetings from Iowa, USA. Very nice looking countryside, but I just can't get over how narrow the roads are there. Very interesting and sad story. Take care.
Hi Maxstone, sorry for the late response Will have to google Iowa. Yeah the roads are very narrow and a nightmare when you get stuck behind a tractor
@@BunnyKingHogs Ya! I bet when you're stuck behind a tractor, you are pretty much STUCK. But the landscapes you have shown on your rides are gorgeous! Grassy fields and rolling hills...
What a sad but fascinating story, had me completely captivated. I did titter though at the splat sound effect.
Haha, I wanted to add some soubd effects, wasn't sure if it worked though. Thanks for watching
enjoying your little stories.... nice touch to add some history to your rides, keep them coming.
Glad you like them! Have plenty planned, just need the riding weather to do them (And Lockdown to be finished)
Thank you for posting. It’s a very interesting story. A beautiful cemetery and chapel. Glad you made it up and back without falling on the slippery road. Karma bit those minors directly on their behinds…and rightfully so. Boo everybody…😮
Great (sad) story and really dug the area. That pass through the hills was really cool and the village looks really old and charming. Idk, maybe its all standard fare for where you're from. But we definitely don't have anything quite like that near me, so it was really cool to see.
Glad you enjoyed it, where are you from?
@@BunnyKingHogs Im from the US, near NYC.
@@moonlitegram Nice, one day we hope to make it to the US to ride.
Great video and the story kept my attention. I hope to see that part of the world one day! Well done!!
Thanks Ty! Appreciate you watching and glad you enjoyed it.
Was the story before gretna green became popular to elope too? I'm glad you got the video out xD was expecting the worst lol
It was the Gretna green of its day!. Trust me, when the footage was lost on the computer I thoight it was definitely doomed
Great story. Enjoyed this episode. Fantastic!!
Thanks so much! It was cursed this vlog, took 3 attempts
What a beautiful country and a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice
Thank you! x😀
I like history even when it is a true story, but for me, i thought it was too long. But watched to the end and happy with the outcome. We have now also lot of leaves on the roads and today i'm driving in the rain, because Wheaterradar forecast was wrong. Tomorrow i hope to drive a part of the B500 in Germany at sunny wheater. Take care and continue the nice vids!
Enjoy the B500, fantastic road to ride. And if you see.my Bambi friend, please tell her i say Hi!
No way..... Nothing wrong with it, in this click and play instant gratification internet world, a longer well told, interesting, lesser known, local story is something we all need. Well done and keep it up.
@@pilgrimspassage8834 Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Trying to bring something different to the channel. You might really like the next one
Poor buggers tragic story that one..👍🏻🇦🇺
I know, really sad.
Happy Halloween Carolyne! Here in Brazil we don't see many celebrations except in language schools. But we have many scary stories about ghosts and other entities. European cemeteries are better designed, here only the very old ones preserve more gothic and architectural styles. Another cool video! A hug and a great weekend for you!
Thank you Marco what a lovely comment. I seem to be visiting quite a few grave sites. I am hoping you will really like the one that is coming soon. Have a great weekend xx
I see you passed Speedwell cavern... We've been there and the 'Devils Arse' ...! Now that place has an interesting story too..!
I know! It is on the to do list. Brian won't go in, hates the confined spaces.
@@BunnyKingHogs Speedwell's a definite no then... Devil's Arse is massive though..!
Interesting you are so easy to listen too and great being on a bike with nice scenery
Glad you think so Henry! Thank you for watching, hope you enjoy the other videos
@@BunnyKingHogs Well I have a lot to watch 😊 🏍

Hi Pawel. Glad you enjoyed it. Rather sad love story. Thanks for watching
@@BunnyKingHogs Love stories r rarely happy ... but :)
What a great view! Great Sound Harley. You are so a beautiful woman! I wish your and your husband always a safe ride! I have driven the Sport Glide. Im in love with her and i will buy her as soon as possible!
Thank you so much Peter! We are lucky to have some amazing places to ride and visit in the area. Sport Glide was fun, look forward to seeing her when you get it
What a wonderful place .... Just enjoy the peaceful ride with beautiful nature ... Beautiful small hill .. ... 😊.. and the ghost story Hahaha😂👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it. It is a true story, didn't you hear the scream?? LOL
More content like this please.. I love it.. 😁
More to come Matt! just need my bike to be fixed
Wow not far off 1000 subs, great work!
Thanks Tom, we having fun. Hope you liked the video!
Wait! So was this story fact or fable? Did you ever find them? I'm loving these videos.
True story, the saddle is on display in the museum. Thanks for watching
Interesting story
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching Ron
There is always pay back for every deed you do, whether that's good or bad is up to you :)
Haha! Divine intervention, they may not have been caught by the law, but they paid for their sins. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed it!
Congratulations on 1,000!
Thanks Big D! Hope you liked the Ghost Story
@@BunnyKingHogs I did, was an interesting story and good video.
That was excellent....
Great video Carolyne
Glad you enjoyed it
Another good history vlog, I have know about Clara & Alan's murders , really enjoyed listening to your tale
Can I ask, how do you find your gorilla camera mount ? Is it reliable and sturdy ? We are thinking of getting one after watching your channel, I like the way the camera can be turned on the fly when riding through beautiful places :)
Wealpe mount is good, and bad. We have a few, some work really well and others are a bit loose. So make sure you get the "official one" (Link below 😀) - the cheaper knock off ones tend to not hold their positions. In fact, the one broke (we had the Akaso on it) when Brian jumped into lake bled and it sunk to the bottom!
@@BunnyKingHogs ahh yes I saw that on the footage :)
I’ll give it some thought , I’m also thinking of the chest mount as well ( asi don’t have boobs 😂) and my partner Nicky wouldn’t want the responsibility of it 🙄
Thanks for replying so quickly:)
Oh what a horrible story. Wet leaves not a place I would park.
With the current weather, not many places on the road that is not covered in wet leaves. So so slippery though.
Nice story. The village and the countryside are simply beautiful. Were the sheep making a ewe turn? 🙂
ahh, I see what you did there. haha. Lovely area to ride, i was surprised at how many spoojy tales there were in the area.
Not seen this one 9.5/10 have to have a ride and look into this one.
Thanks John. Unsurprisingly it was cursed when we filmed. 3 attempts ruined by rain storms, heavy traffic and lost audio
Very interesting ive been over that area on my goldwing with my friend mandy we love it blue john mines ? Etc keep up the vlogs love the sound of your bike and your voice🐇 hogs
Oh wow. That’s awesome! I’ll do a vlog on Peveril :)
Perhaps you could combine it with your other faverite thing ! No not that ! I ment food reviews around your destination and recamendations as things open up just a idea i mean you have to eat anyway stay happy
@@lesliewilliams8432 Great minds... haha well you will see in the future :)
Ok, I’m lost, do u have a blue tooth speaker in your helmet and does the cameras sink with each other? So awesome how everything sinks or is that “editing” ??
its so old school you going to laugh. We have a mic in my helmet connected to my old phone, which is in my jacket pocket. Brian then pieces it all together with his editing. we need to get a better system
I love your vlogs
thanks 😊
you need nerves of steel to ride those streets.i think my sidewalk is wider than those roads
They probably are, you should see some of the roads we ride on in the future vlogs, barely wider than my bars
Cool story 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it! Was a nightmare filming it!
@@BunnyKingHogs welcome to TH-cam lol
@@TheBlueBikeDoyle I just think the miners didn't want the story told
@@BunnyKingHogs that could be it
awesome vid Keep Up The Good Work
Hi Ken, welcome to the channel. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it.
GOOD ONE
Thanks john 👍
How do you remember all this information from your videos about all these places?
I do a lot of research before i go, say a whole bunch of stuff and then Brian pulls a rabit out a hat haha 😄
It worked! Whoop! :)
Well done!
just married and stopped at an inn to get warm...yea thats why lol
It was cold! No better way to get warm ;)
@@BunnyKingHogs no arguement here. Great vids. I am in N Carolina USA but my Mom is from Berlin and we have family all over France Belgium Austria etc and have crossed the big pond many times to visit so am familiar with some of the areas you toured. Great videos, keep it up! Ride safe and I look forward to more!
@@1twistedcpl6575 Well welcome to the channel and thanks for watching the videos. Some lovely areas for sure. Stay Safe, Ride safe and I look forward to recording more. Haha
nice story
Thanks for watching! I do ride and talk! Unless i pull the mic out, which is rather common
@@BunnyKingHogs hahaha, use the glue gun on it ;)
@@UncleLongbeard yeah, that might hurt a little.
What goes around comes around simple as that .
Indeed! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the video!
@@BunnyKingHogs ohh I always do Many thanks to you 🤘🏼
tech question: How do you record your voice? Mic in the helmet?
Hi Mike, Yes, if you look closely you will see the wire running to a phone in the pocket, we then sync it up in post editing. Works ok, not the best, bit old school.
Alright... how do you sync? Pluraleyes?
@@MikeFoxCo Hi Mike, I do it in Editing, basically match up the sound with the video, usually with 3 claps so it forms the spike in both video audio and audio recording, or the bike startup

10:29 what is the purpose of such a gate? I saw it in Argentina and now in UK, but I don't know why there is this metal trellis. Can sb explain it to me?
The gate is there to stop sheep from walking across it, that way you dont need to have a gate to open and close all the time.
@@BunnyKingHogs if I understood correctly, the sheep are afraid of the holes and cannot go through it, right?
Ha haaaaaaa
You know this story!
Don't be scared Mike!
