Thank you very much! I have experienced a permanently rear jams on my Brother printer and after I watched your video and cleaned the rubber rollers by a q-tips with an alcohol this fixed the problem!
Thank you! Following your directions it took 49 seconds to locate the tiny piece of paper that was stuck . And back in business. Thanks again after looking all afternoon, 49 seconds to locate and fix! RD in Boca
Thank you! Every single page was curled, now the problem resolved. I've used your method with the knife and I've used also a cleaning with alcohol, as suggested in comments.
My printer rollers were not gummed up, but I did lift the lid as shown and then blew out any dust with "ultra duster" spray, then ran a test print in the sequence that Abraham suggested ...and it worked. The MFC L2740 is a great printer and no problems with it until now, so thanks Abraham for saving me repair costs or having to get a new printer ! 👍 😊
I did on my MFC L 2700dw, Same problem, I followed your instruction and cleaned all three rollers and now it is not jamming, Thank you so much for helpful vdo
I could see where the paper was jamming lay, but not why. There seemed no obvious problem. I was just about to press the "buy" button on a new printer, when I thought I'd have one more look on the internet for solutions and came across your video. I used alcohol on cotton buds and it now works again. Many thanks indeed!
It doesn't matter smoking or not, the fact is for this kind of mechanism cleaning the rollers fixes the problem. Thanks for sharing after cleaning rollers with alcohol the printer works flawlessly.
Brilliant, every internet search I did kept leading me to open the back, clear the crinkled Jam. This one actually helped and worked. Thank you so much.
omg! thank you so much! I was going to throw the printer out...I already bought a new one. you are amazing! totally appreciate it!!! I used a toothbrush!!
Thank you for this. I used your method with alcohol for years now but it recently got worse where i had to do it every week. My next test is with Wd-40 on a paper towel, so far it is working, but will see how it holds up over time. I also ordered the roller part from ali express for about $10 and the rear roller for $5. This printer is awesome, my page count is over 60,000! I live outside the usa so to buy new would cost $350. I also hate throwing stuff in the landfill if I can fix it.
Helped me a lot, thanks, I have Bother MFC-2700 DW printer, with similar structure and I scratched the rolling rubbers as displayed in the video, and cleaned with Alcohol and the papers start rolling out. before, they were constantly stuck all the time.
Thanks! I fixed mine with alcohol on a lint free cloth. Held it against the rollers while they spun with your door trick. I also cleaned the rollers in the rear with alcohol. So far so good
Well, wow, wow wow! I am like the most unhandy man on the planet. This printer cost me $300 five years ago. I don't print a huge number of pages a year, used mostly for scanning. Cost to send the MFC back to Brother for service would run $100 with transportation. OR buy a new printer. Didn't like either option. Bangkok is a big, dirty city. We don't smoke but we leave the printer covered with a cloth. The knife/scalpel approach is hard. After this, I used a microfiber cloth soaked in 99% alcohol. Just to make sure, I used cotton buds in alcohol, opened & closed the door many times. The danger, I would think, is getting little bits of cotton lint caught in the works. SUCCESS! (So far, so good.) However, if the rollers are that grimy, there must be dust deposits deeper inside the printer. THANK YOU!
I don't whether this is the same problem in my printer or not but my printer get stuck every time i remove and reprint. Have to try this and will come back after i clean it. Thanks for sharing 😊
@@Itsbk999 Watch the video again. This is part of the printer startup series. Just crack that front door & the rollers will roll for just seconds. You'll need to do it multiple times.

very thanks bro, heartly
alcohol would do the job or even better roller rejuvenator. No need to use knive, these rollers just need proper cleaning the get better grip
that area can not possible accumulate enough dirt to jam the paper. - it's in the roller
thank you so much
Kindly help me fix our printer please...

Jam Tray 1
No paper jam
NO HELP AT ALL.
No offence but I think you may not be doing it right. Try the alcohol & fine-grit emery paper techniques, or my Q-Tips, as mentioned above.
