Same! I was about to say that definitely the chorus grows on you the more you listen to it, It has a melancholy vibe to it, love it.
I feel the same! After a few jams in the car the chorus became the standout part of the song, while I felt completely different on first listen. Great feature.

Same feeling concerning the chorus and yet 1 week later... I've listened to it maybe 20 times, totally in love with the song AND the chorus. Complete grower. Another masterpierce from Landmvrks. Definitely my most anticipated album in 2025 and strong contender for AOTY
I'll be honest, my opinion on the song was nearly the exact same, but hearing the chorus now in this reaction now that I know it and know what to expect it to be, I like it magnitudes more than I did before

I think my ears might be broken or something. As soon as the chorus kicked in, I instantly loved it. Sure, it SLIGHTLY felt like it was done before, but to be honest its still good.

This song is a banger. The only thing as Bogdan said is the choruses is are a bit "weak" compared to verses but it's definitly a grower

I really looking for "Requiem". It will hit hard 😅
Not really sure about the chorus, but the weak spot for me was at the beginning, with the quiet/whispery vs. screams, that felt a little bit off imo.
Also there was no need for a breakdown, wish the atmospheric ambient bridge section was longer, would've had a bigger impact after all.

It's not bad, but it's not amazing like they're last 2 singles. I'm not a huge fan of the vocal mix on the chorus.

Yeah the chorus feels really out of place. I mean it's a good chorus in my opinion, but it's in a wrong song.
Imo, the verses are not really that fresh or interesting. The back-and-forth formula is becoming a tad overused. Quiet-loud-quiet-loud and then a poppy chorus. Every other metalcore single sounds like this recently. Compare this track to "Sulfur", or "Mindframe" by Silent Planet, or "Overdose" by Memphis May Fire, just off the top of my head.
