The whole song is insane, but I literally got chills in that second verse when the guitarist's vocals came out
I think the community got consecutive chills throughout at this song. This makes so much sense for them but I love that they still put themselves into their mix of intensity and emotion.

this song was heavy and dark; I didn't expect Imminence to go this crazy. that last breakdown section made me throw shit against the wall in my home office. also, i was half-expecting Eddie to pull a Jimi Hendrix during the last breakdown visual and start using his mouth to pluck the strings of his violin.
Ah, yes. String plucking the vilion like in the song Infectious… except with his teeth and screaming a deathcore verse.
Invent Animate and Imminence are the 2 bands that reshaped this genre for me. So many others are going poppy or industrial while these 2 are just getting heavier, while maintaining ambience and beauty along the way. I get to see Imminence here in California in March, and then IA in April. I’m so hyped!

And this is why Imminence is probably is one of my favorites. You can go from melodic vibes of Erase, to mourning from The Black, then to this deathcore beauty. A song for all my moods in one day 🤣. But in all seriousness I am hoping this sets the mood for the new album.

my favorite song of this year so far, so unexpectedly heavy. death metal/ super death core vibes, i love it. would love to hear a whole album like this from them. this bands craftsmanship is off the charts anything they put out is an instant 10/10 for me.

Imminence followed Phil Bozeman into the cave and completely forgot what genre they mostly fell into. Now they transformed into a Whole new band but Eddie made sure to hold onto his Violin. 2025 is the year of the Cave!!!

I respect that they're trying to find other boundaries but I'm not a fan of death(core/metal) so I hope they remain in the metalcore genre somewhat. At first I didn't enjoy all songs from The Black but now I really do so perhaps it will still grow on me.

I agree, I'm having the same thoughts now because I'm not a death metal fan. Each new track by the black was like a celebration. But when I started listening to this new track... then everything became clear, sad of course.

I have mixed feelings about the song. As someone who is particularly a fan of Eddie's singing, I was really hoping to hear some of that on this single. But it's always cool to see bands trying something new even if it's not exactly my thing. Who knows, maybe it'll grow on me, maybe not. All I know is this is definitely their heaviest song to date. It was only a matter of time.

@ it would be good if the singer was good at that genre. he is not in my opinion it comes off corny and cheesy. if you want better music thats kinda similar to this u should check out Self Deception. I hear similarities in their sound
