Looks like a tool I could use everyday. I’m a satellite Installer and the crazy things I do every day to get a ladder on a tall roof is getting out of hand

I love these, I use one at the roof transition when using my ladder extention arms (link below) it makes for the safest entry and exit to any roof. A guy can have solid footing when grabbing material off another guys shoulder. I also use them for staging materials, either put one and a run up the roof of bundles or what ever, but more often we will lay a board across and use them as movable, temporary, roof jacks. Also setting scaffold up on the ridge side of chimneys as I do alot of masonry restoration. My new favorite use is when I have pump jacks or scaffold set up along an eave when doing masonry or slate restoration jobs, I can set these along the eave then wrap my nets over them amd weight on top that it gives a safety net from the eave put 5-6 ft. Which protects ground guys, people on the scaffold, the property itself, and the Gutters. Nothing worse than watching a guy lose a piece of slate that slides 80mph down a 16/12 valley and takes a few chunks of a 8 pieces detail box gutter, or mangles a 6" copper gutter. This way stops anything about 30" above the eave, and they can be used on new roofing you've just laid your first few course without damaging them or driving nails through new work to set new jacks for a net. My guys have done everything from use them as chairs, to a table to cook a hot plate on. We also set them up and lay a piece of plywood on the to use as a ramp to get into the dumpster when the back doors open. As stated though my favorite is a landing in front of a ladder with these

If I need to climb from my garage roof onto the main house roof does this tool need to be anchored at all or is it safe as is for placing a ladder on?
