Wow, that takes me back... I'm 34 now and my Mum used to listen to this record when I was about 7, Yes I'm a little sentimental but it's like a sound track to my childhood....magical tune.
Well, these three clips have just finished off a perfect day ! ... It's my 40th birthday (15th) and my daughter bought me the "David Essex - Live at the Royal Albert Hall" DVD, and then I come on here and see these lovely clips as well .... thanks so much :0)
I simply love the song - have been looking for it since 1988 - tried HMV Records in London without success.... so nostalgic.... Thanks Richard for finding it for me....
Does anyone have some information about a video based on the same song that came out in 1987? It was sung by David Essex and featured a blonde girl riding her bike in a town that looked like Cambridge or Oxford. It was shown on TV when I was about seven, sometime in the 1990s, and have been looking for it eversince. I would be grateful if anyone knows anything about it.
I fell in love with this song when it was first released. I ended up naming my daughter Myfanwy- she is now 21. Thank you for posting this.
Lovely, my favourite David Essex song. Thanx for posting.
