Honestly, I was nervous that this game would be bad and boring, but thank god I was wrong. This has been the most addicting game I’ve ever played since 2K14. I enjoyed 16 and 19 of course, but thanks to the improved gameplay, cool features, super beautiful graphics, perfect mix of arcade and simulation, and so much more, it’s hard for me to stop playing. I’ve been downloading lots of community creations to make things more fun, and damn, they truly do help. While this game does miss some retro content such as arenas and legends, I’m grateful for some of the choices added. I can’t wait for the DLC releases as they look very promising. Overall, such a fun game with a solid foundation for future installments. 👍
Last night I was playing MyRise in a heel doing a storyline called Three Amigos where I was in a feud with Rey Mysterio, which led my character started mocking Eddie Guerrero by coming out with Eddie's theme and Lowrider and then led to a parking lot brawl, which ended up with me fighting with Eddie Guerrero's ghost in the parking lot and the cut scenes ends with Eddie performing the Frog Splash from the top of the ambulance and then shows Rey Mysterio driving off with Eddie's lowrider and then my feud with Rey ended with me winning against Rey in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Love this game.

The gameplay is so fun and fluid. If they were to include chain wrestling, working holds, double knock out ten counts, fighting towards a ropebreak and 5 count after rope break in a way that is fast and to the point, the experience would be complete.
Every game is the same excuse; a step in the right direction. Wasn't 2K15 a "step in the direction" excuse for being bare-bones? At what point do we get a complete game? The gameplay is fluid but every year they'll do one thing right and remove other features.
This game is definitely addictive probably beacuse its been awhile since a game has come out but it is so fun ! Even just watching the entrances like they actually have dramatic camera angles and it's like watching it live
That is not normal. I have it for my Series S and have never run into that issue at all at least not yet. I've been playing the game since before release (n.W.o edition) so I think I would've noticed by now. Maybe you should try reinstallingn the game as that can fix the issue. Hopefully, it helps.
The roster will be small in 2K23, but the gameplay & MyGm mode will improve. I’m thinking of buying the game later this month, but I’m also thinking about next year for some reason.
In my honest opinion with the major improvements of Community Creations everyone’s entrance still in the game and the ability to add your own image for a wrestler I honestly think the small roster won’t make a difference
The graphics and gameplay look really great, hopefully they add more superstars from years past though. I was extremely excited to hear that GM Mode was coming back, however I'm very disappointed how it's limited this time. Only 1vs1 and 2vs2 matches?.. and only 2 champions per show?? WTF is that sh*t?! So to be honest, I think I'm just going to wait until it goes on sale for $30 or so.
There are a few bugs that I've ran into other then that this game is a step in the right direction for WWE 2k games I hope they keep building apon this and build on my gm mode
The gameplay is the only reason to buy it GM Mode is too limited in time to battle brands and breadth. Advanced entrances not being in the game sorta kills the CAW community especially for content creators like myself though I know many cut entrances off. I cannot speak to myRise from what I've seen looks good
I've been enjoying the gameplay a lot surprisingly and have been playing a lot of myRise. It's pretty good from experience, is it perfect? No but It's enjoyable. Hopefully they'll let us walk around and stuff in the next game. The lack of advanced entrances is probably where most of my disappointment lies. Took me a while to figure out why is it that I couldn't find any advance features only to realize that it doesn't exist. I was like wow, can't believe they didn't give us the option to do so and I mess with that a lot on my own CAW.
The game is fine. If we didnt get such a bad 2k20 we would be judging this game differently. It is lacking in mode and features from modes and Kurt Angel should have been in the game.
I haven’t played since 13 or 14 but I can say this game is hella fun and me and my friend were impressed by showcase mode and the graphics. I think the wrestler models look great ea needs to take notes I wish the ufc games had graphics like this.the only thing that bothered us was how many times you can kickout and how easy submissions can be.
I personally love the game. My friend came over last night and we had some beers and played MyGM against each other. It was so much fun. I admit that its the only way to play it.
It might be the nostalgia of N64 wrestling games for me but I'm having a blast with this game on XsX! With that said, loading times are slow... Especially in The Rise where you have to load after every conversation

I'm gonna be honest, I don't have the game yet. But after seeing some of these videos for WWE 2k22, it looks much improved. Yes it looks like they could've made more progress with My GM mode, but the game looks like it's the first really good game in nearly 8 years since 2k14. I might give this game a try after Christmas.
Bro, 2k22 is so much better totally worth the wait. My son was playing an elimination chamber last night and I literally watched the match as if it was real life. The AI has been improved so much, as far as move selection,
there are some improvements to the Universe Mode that I would like to see: 1. Superstars should be able to be in multiple divisions to compete for multiple titles based on player rank. For example, tag team members should be able to compete for both the tag and singles title. 2. MITB should be able to compete for any major title on both brands. 3. Winners of the the Royal Rumble doesn't automatically main event Wrestlemania. 4. Undertaker doesn't always get a rivalry match at Wrestlemania.
I got this at the launch the gameplay is amazing. I have had a few bugs were it crashes in myrise in between games which has been annoying. My gm is very underwhelming & taking away advanced custom entrance kinda made me not want to watch entrances for my created players. overall I would give it 7/8 and i'm looking forward to the next two games
The only problem iv had is I'm halfway through a match and for some reason it kicks me back to xbox home. Apart from that it's great my 1st wwe game since 2k16
The game is actually fun. Massive improvement from 2k20 but I’m still annoyed they still have those “forced loss” matches. Ide rather it be a cutscene than actually playing a match that’s not winnable. Also on PS4 at least a lot of the entrances with pyros are pretty buggy. Shawn Michaels pyro basically turns the entire screen white then blasts your ears with multiple overlapping explosions
my biggest negative is the showcase....it seems to be really random matches n lacking actual important ones. where is rumble 06, wrestlemania 22 and summerslam.05 arguably 3 of reys biggest matches yet none are in the game.......
It was definitely worth the wait not happy about universe mode lacking in fact it’s worse than 2K19 but gameplay and the graphics make for it somewhat they gotta fix those crashes tho.
You know which WWE game was good as hell? Day of Reckoning 2, and this game reminds me a bit of it so it definitely is a complement. I definitely will check it out :D
That’s some Damn high praise! I’ve got my GameCube hooked up right now and playing dor 2. The gameplay is quite similar ! The submission system however was much more fleshed out in Dor 2.
My Rise sounds like Career Mode from WWE SmackDown Vs Raw 2009,2010. 2K22 is not the only WWE game with branching Storylines, WWE SmackDown Vs Raw 2011 WWE Universe Mode has the cool option for face/heel turns
My own opinion : Pros : -The new combat system is refreshing and has really amped up the speed of the gameplay. Everything is fast and responsive now. Cons : -Universe mode still bugs out, no improvements since a long time ago. -Championships are still hard-coded and unchanged, every title folds at the wrong seams, also, a remnant of old time issues ignored by 2K. -myGM is just a lazy slap-on mode that has no thoughts placed into it. -Many entrances are also hard-coded, and even hard-coded badly, take a look at Cameron Grimes's hair clipping out of the hat, Walter taking off his coat. This is not good at all for a 2 year development. -The way each entity is handled is not good at all. In a developer standpoint, entities can be tied together, making sure that each entity is related. This is targetting the horrible way 2K handles attires and alter-egos. They could've re-programmed the entities or re-map the entity relations so that you won't have a Finn Balor and another Demon King Balor. What if I wanted to win a championship match as Demon King Balor, but also have Finn Balor entering another match with the said championship? What if I wanted to have an easier time looking for the correct Undertaker for the match against the old HBK? This one is a little over-reaching but you get the point, how hard is it to listen to the fans and properly handle the attire sections? "We have 201 playable wrestlers for the players" but 30+ of them are alternate attires and that is lazy. So yea, the verdict is, buy it to play, the combat really is fun. But for the inspiration and aspiration of game development, this is not a passionate title as there is absolutely no love put into it. The devs are definitely not wrestling game players, and/or are being surpressed by the higher ups to push out a MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for profit re-coup. It can sustain you for a couple of matches a day. But imagine you are an avid wrestling game fan, and wanted to atleast grind out about 10 matches or more in one sitting, the glaring issues comes out very fast. It is refreshing, pretty with new lightings and good graphics, but the fact never changed, this is the synthetic burger from the reformed Krusty Krab, in the real world.
Personally I didn’t even like the new combat system. It’s too fast paced for me to the point were it doesn’t feel like a wrestling match anymore and the breakers is the worst idea ever, it’s based on luck rather than skill
I'll probably get it on the cheap, A micro-transaction filled offline only card game and the very barebones gm mode gets a no from me until the price goes down. The gameplay and animations can be as good as you want but without the modes to show it all off then what's the point. Also can I pay to not have Logan Paul in my dlc pack if and when I get it?

You’re bang on mate, wish I’d have waited for a sale but of course I bought into the hype and got the nwo edition so my own fault for trusting 2K and TH-camrs on their payroll I guess, In fairness when the game first launched it was a good time and then after the update it was even better(mainly cause I didn’t use many custom logos so didn’t get the crashes) now with the recent update I think I had about a good 12 crashes maybe more just yesterday

For the love of god bro I can’t believe the amount of people defending this game so much, yes it’s an improvement from 2K20 but really only just, they removed moves, added multiple crashes, microtransactions, lacklustre modes(all of them) universe only had superstar mode which has to be the laziest mode they’ve ever implemented, myrise is fun it does have its moments but quickly becomes mostly filler, secret raw ending too but no one’s found it yet(which is fucking annoying) lacklustre gm mode, no advanced entrances despite still having crashes in the game, bugs galore, my gf was literally playing on her myrise yesterday against maryse and somehow they both glitches inside the wall to the point where she had to just guess what moves she was doing as couldn’t see anything, the renders for the most part aren’t scaled, 35+ renders and you can’t edit custom superstars or add anymore renders due to it crashing, universe mode crashes where the match card changes completely when you boot it back up, lacklustre showcase mode, my-crotransaction mode, myrise characters locked in the mode(including your own created superstar) etc etc how people can say this is a fucking 8/10 is just insane to me! 4/10 -5/10 at absolute most with all the buggy updates
Don't be a guinea pig folks. Get 2k19 & download as Many favorite wrestlers while you can because it's the last game that will ever be played the way we were all used to. It's gonna take like 2 or more games before they finally get this right for the new way of playing.
I wish I could. CC scene on PC is really bad, though. Plus I and many others can't download stuff once you reach 200 MBs of data as further downloads will be corrupt and may mess with the CC content already downloaded. From all I've read, watched and heard about 2k22 it's a massive step down in terms of being a well rounded wrestling simulation compared to 2k19. It's really bumming me out since now I could get CC from consoles which is all I ever wanted for wwe 2k games on PC.
@@KJ_Styles The game seems to be fine but that's part of the problem. It's just a pass. Even if the new gameplay style is fun, it's a completely different game. There's still only 100 CAW slots. 🤦🤦🤦 I'm currently struggling to decide what Caws to keep before the servers shut down. They said the launch of 2k22 but 2k19 servers are still up. So maybe until the end of march is my guess. I downloaded the entire attitude era but alternate attires and wrestling rings also take up a slot. 🤦 We need at least 200, 300 would be ideal though. Different eras, alternate attires and cosplay wrestlers = not even close to enough slots.

ngl I was really looking forward to this one, and I'm glad it hits the spot for many people. But me, I barely use the existing roster, and simply get down to creation. So not having the ability to create an entrance really killed the hype for me. I'm gonna stick with 2k19 another year, I guess... Oh, and I was planning to buy the game like minutes after watching this video, so... good timing there.
I have enjoyed WWE 2K22. Although there is some very minor things they should fix for 2k23 if 2K keeps the WWE games like certain reversals & adding more match types. Also enable player's to defend titles against friends and others online would be cool.
I was totally against the combo system when it was announced but I honestly really like it. It has issues but if they stick with it for a few games it will only get better
Only bad thing is that in My Gm it only has 3 fun maches like hell in a cell , extreme rules match, an tables should have had at least triple threat , steel cage match, an the Ironman match an the other thing if anyone else notice the submission in this game is Op as hell
I'm on PC & had the game 3 days early. I legit haven't even had 1 crash & didn't have the accepting the terms over & over glitch! I'm running everything on ultra & its is juts simply beautiful! The Gameplay is so fun! I'm a hardcore gamer, & have been a huge Wrestling fan all my life. I can tell they played it safe with certain things, but only to make sure the basic founder is great! Overall the game is very good! Once they have Online Vs Crossplay & flush out the modes! Gonna be Even Better!
The only reason I'm considering buying is the return of the GM mode. It sounds like it's not on the same level as the awesome days of 1007's Smackdown v Raw GM days, but can anybody say if it's a worthy mode return?
Well I´ve finished the Showcase and it´s quite short. The one with Daniel Bryan was longer I guess. But it was quite fun. Yes, I got a tear in my eye as the Eddie stuff happend....^^ Now my main question. I play My Rise. What the hell did I miss? Mandy Rose is the GM of RAW? No Sonya? Ok, I have not watched WWE for the past couple of years but I watch the news on YT. Did I just forgot it? o.O xD
To be honest, I'm happy it's actually turned itself around. But I do want more and more customization options and removing the attire limits (what is point of that anyways?). Another feature I want is a voice recognization for names so I can speak a name and they'll say that name instead of having a limited selection. As for characters, I really would like Matt Hardy to be DLC... I am a bit disappointed he isn't in game (I know he is in AEW, but so is Jeff).
That’s what I hate about playing against actual humans. Plenty of times I didn’t even care who won anymore. I just wanted it to end. I prefer playing against the a.i on hardest difficulty.
Yeah, only way to consistently win is by submission signatures of finishers. I’ve played dozens of matches online, including elimination chambers. I have never been pinned once. Even when my whole body was red and I had no health, I still kicked out.

Great game was honestly hoping 4 a major improvement on next gen gameplay wise like how when we went from xbox 360 to xbox one slamming someone on a weapon on the xbox one would do more damage
Graphics and presentation are better than they’ve ever been, but the control scheme is ridiculous (2 buttons for a finisher) and it feels more arcady than sim now. I’m not a fan of the Tic-tac-toe reversal system either, and the menu music sucks this year. I always have to question the absence of new legends and the inclusion of celebrities as DLC. All in all, it’s worth $65 if you have it…but if you’re still playing 2K19 than it’s not worth the upgrade.
I bought deluxe mainly for rvd because yeah something that annoys me is that I tried to make dx but I couldn’t buy Shawn Michaels and I tried to do apa but no jbl and I realized I had to play showcase to get them but I just wanted to buy them that’s my once critique other than Dominick also being unlockable
My only complaint is it is hit or miss on getting online. I haven't been able to for 3 days now. I really want to get some CAWs and championship belts and arenas.
Not at all, this game feels like 2K20.2 to me. Animations feel rubbery, clipping is still bad, CAW mode face creation is broken on PC and GM mode pales in comparison to the SVR games. I live by the code if you're not gonna top the best leave it alone and they didn't even top 2K19 which wasn't as good as the SVR series.
The only great thing about 2K22 is its presentation. The menus look good, the graphics, the lighting, the entrances etc, all look damn good. That's where it stops. I'm not impressed with anything else about the game.

I, for the life of me, cannot see why the took out table stacking. And we still have limitations when placing tables. Except for that, the game is better, but the in .watch grunts do get alil repetitive.
The fact that the current smackdown arena is not apart of the arena creation suite, is one thing. The height and weight adjustments in superstar creation suite, is another problem. Title creation suite is missing key title components. Entrance creation is horrible and they couldve at least had past entrance themes and music from the wwe entrance cd volumes. And removing OMG moments wasn't the greatest idea. Universe mode is always okay, still feel like there are things they could have capitalized on, Superstar mode inside universe mode is awesome. I am taking my time to go through the game, but so far it gets 6.5/10
Anyone notice that Undertaker couldn't perform chokeslam in 2k22? There are 5 undertaker in 2k22, I am talking about "The Undertaker" . I couldn't find it in both signature and finisher move
One thing I caught while playing my 2k22 on ps4 was if you play a match in the smackdown arena the commentary will mention pat which is better then nothing.
My local gamestop has a near open ended layby system so I'm going to wait for a month before I pick up the game, as I pre-ordered the full package. By then the patches will be coming in along with any more DLC's being announced. I'm honestly not completely sold yet.
Is there a chance to revert to the old intro? The new one feels really sudden and I always get scared because it comes out of nowhere and it’s s bit loud, while CM Punk’s theme is iconic to this channel IMO.
One of the things I find irritating that they didn’t fix for superstars and their entrances is the Pyro some superstars don’t have it all and it’s kind of sad we don’t get to like create entrances or move sets for the superstars so we can’t even fix it
Been playing since the 8th. As someone who doesn't understand why people thought 2K14 or 19 were actually good games...this is by and large the best work 2K has done so far, and probably the best game since SvR 07. It doesn't stand on the same pedestals as SD2, SYM, HCTP or SvR 06...but it's a great foundation for 2K to build on now and would could have a truly amazing game again if they can manage to "Smackdown 2" 2K23. As a trophy hunter...my biggest worry is what MyFaction is going to end up turning into in the future, a heavily monetized, multiplayer grindfest, it's okay now though it does make the Platinum a little annoying...but I can very much see this is the mode 2K is going to focus on going forward, and sadly...people are going to spend money on it. Overall the game doesn't quite bring me back to the days of not being able to get enough...but I've enjoyed myself more here than I have in a very long time.
I will say this, the main thing that annoys me is how fast the match pacing is. Everyone kicks out of everything. Also there are alot of mechanics missing. Simple things like ultimate control during finishers, and running irish whips are inexplicably missing...
The fact the gameplay is the best part is honestly a W. If it feels and plays nice, people are going to continue playing.

I think one huge problem I have with it, is the loading and how long it takes. For next gen I shouldn’t have to wait 40 sec to go back to Home Screen

I haven’t played since 13 or 14 but I can say this game is hella fun and me and my friend were impressed by showcase mode and the graphics. I think the wrestler models look great ea needs to take notes I wish the ufc games had graphics like this.the only thing that bothered us was how many times you can kickout and how easy submissions can be.

I personally love the game. My friend came over last night and we had some beers and played MyGM against each other. It was so much fun. I admit that its the only way to play it.
It might be the nostalgia of N64 wrestling games for me but I'm having a blast with this game on XsX! With that said, loading times are slow... Especially in The Rise where you have to load after every conversation

I'm gonna be honest, I don't have the game yet. But after seeing some of these videos for WWE 2k22, it looks much improved. Yes it looks like they could've made more progress with My GM mode, but the game looks like it's the first really good game in nearly 8 years since 2k14. I might give this game a try after Christmas.

The main problem is the edit and downloaded wrestlers. You can only download so many before it crashes I hope they fix this issue!!
there are some improvements to the Universe Mode that I would like to see:
1. Superstars should be able to be in multiple divisions to compete for multiple titles based on player rank. For example, tag team members should be able to compete for both the tag and singles title.
2. MITB should be able to compete for any major title on both brands.
3. Winners of the the Royal Rumble doesn't automatically main event Wrestlemania.
4. Undertaker doesn't always get a rivalry match at Wrestlemania.
I got this at the launch the gameplay is amazing. I have had a few bugs were it crashes in myrise in between games which has been annoying. My gm is very underwhelming & taking away advanced custom entrance kinda made me not want to watch entrances for my created players. overall I would give it 7/8 and i'm looking forward to the next two games
The only problem iv had is I'm halfway through a match and for some reason it kicks me back to xbox home. Apart from that it's great my 1st wwe game since 2k16

The game is actually fun. Massive improvement from 2k20 but I’m still annoyed they still have those “forced loss” matches. Ide rather it be a cutscene than actually playing a match that’s not winnable. Also on PS4 at least a lot of the entrances with pyros are pretty buggy. Shawn Michaels pyro basically turns the entire screen white then blasts your ears with multiple overlapping explosions
my biggest negative is the showcase....it seems to be really random matches n lacking actual important ones. where is rumble 06, wrestlemania 22 and summerslam.05 arguably 3 of reys biggest matches yet none are in the game.......

It was definitely worth the wait not happy about universe mode lacking in fact it’s worse than 2K19 but gameplay and the graphics make for it somewhat they gotta fix those crashes tho.

That’s some Damn high praise! I’ve got my GameCube hooked up right now and playing dor 2. The gameplay is quite similar ! The submission system however was much more fleshed out in Dor 2.
My Rise sounds like Career Mode from WWE SmackDown Vs Raw 2009,2010. 2K22 is not the only WWE game with branching Storylines, WWE SmackDown Vs Raw 2011 WWE Universe Mode has the cool option for face/heel turns
My own opinion :
Pros :
-The new combat system is refreshing and has really amped up the speed of the gameplay. Everything is fast and responsive now.
Cons :
-Universe mode still bugs out, no improvements since a long time ago.
-Championships are still hard-coded and unchanged, every title folds at the wrong seams, also, a remnant of old time issues ignored by 2K.
-myGM is just a lazy slap-on mode that has no thoughts placed into it.
-Many entrances are also hard-coded, and even hard-coded badly, take a look at Cameron Grimes's hair clipping out of the hat, Walter taking off his coat. This is not good at all for a 2 year development.
-The way each entity is handled is not good at all. In a developer standpoint, entities can be tied together, making sure that each entity is related. This is targetting the horrible way 2K handles attires and alter-egos. They could've re-programmed the entities or re-map the entity relations so that you won't have a Finn Balor and another Demon King Balor. What if I wanted to win a championship match as Demon King Balor, but also have Finn Balor entering another match with the said championship? What if I wanted to have an easier time looking for the correct Undertaker for the match against the old HBK? This one is a little over-reaching but you get the point, how hard is it to listen to the fans and properly handle the attire sections? "We have 201 playable wrestlers for the players" but 30+ of them are alternate attires and that is lazy.
So yea, the verdict is, buy it to play, the combat really is fun. But for the inspiration and aspiration of game development, this is not a passionate title as there is absolutely no love put into it. The devs are definitely not wrestling game players, and/or are being surpressed by the higher ups to push out a MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for profit re-coup. It can sustain you for a couple of matches a day. But imagine you are an avid wrestling game fan, and wanted to atleast grind out about 10 matches or more in one sitting, the glaring issues comes out very fast. It is refreshing, pretty with new lightings and good graphics, but the fact never changed, this is the synthetic burger from the reformed Krusty Krab, in the real world.
Personally I didn’t even like the new combat system. It’s too fast paced for me to the point were it doesn’t feel like a wrestling match anymore and the breakers is the worst idea ever, it’s based on luck rather than skill
I'll probably get it on the cheap, A micro-transaction filled offline only card game and the very barebones gm mode gets a no from me until the price goes down. The gameplay and animations can be as good as you want but without the modes to show it all off then what's the point. Also can I pay to not have Logan Paul in my dlc pack if and when I get it?

You’re bang on mate, wish I’d have waited for a sale but of course I bought into the hype and got the nwo edition so my own fault for trusting 2K and TH-camrs on their payroll I guess, In fairness when the game first launched it was a good time and then after the update it was even better(mainly cause I didn’t use many custom logos so didn’t get the crashes) now with the recent update I think I had about a good 12 crashes maybe more just yesterday

For the love of god bro I can’t believe the amount of people defending this game so much, yes it’s an improvement from 2K20 but really only just, they removed moves, added multiple crashes, microtransactions, lacklustre modes(all of them) universe only had superstar mode which has to be the laziest mode they’ve ever implemented, myrise is fun it does have its moments but quickly becomes mostly filler, secret raw ending too but no one’s found it yet(which is fucking annoying) lacklustre gm mode, no advanced entrances despite still having crashes in the game, bugs galore, my gf was literally playing on her myrise yesterday against maryse and somehow they both glitches inside the wall to the point where she had to just guess what moves she was doing as couldn’t see anything, the renders for the most part aren’t scaled, 35+ renders and you can’t edit custom superstars or add anymore renders due to it crashing, universe mode crashes where the match card changes completely when you boot it back up, lacklustre showcase mode, my-crotransaction mode, myrise characters locked in the mode(including your own created superstar) etc etc how people can say this is a fucking 8/10 is just insane to me! 4/10 -5/10 at absolute most with all the buggy updates
Don't be a guinea pig folks. Get 2k19 & download as Many favorite wrestlers while you can because it's the last game that will ever be played the way we were all used to. It's gonna take like 2 or more games before they finally get this right for the new way of playing.
I wish I could. CC scene on PC is really bad, though. Plus I and many others can't download stuff once you reach 200 MBs of data as further downloads will be corrupt and may mess with the CC content already downloaded.
From all I've read, watched and heard about 2k22 it's a massive step down in terms of being a well rounded wrestling simulation compared to 2k19.
It's really bumming me out since now I could get CC from consoles which is all I ever wanted for wwe 2k games on PC.

There's still only 100 CAW slots. 🤦🤦🤦 I'm currently struggling to decide what Caws to keep before the servers shut down. They said the launch of 2k22 but 2k19 servers are still up. So maybe until the end of march is my guess. I downloaded the entire attitude era but alternate attires and wrestling rings also take up a slot. 🤦 We need at least 200, 300 would be ideal though. Different eras, alternate attires and cosplay wrestlers = not even close to enough slots.

ngl I was really looking forward to this one, and I'm glad it hits the spot for many people. But me, I barely use the existing roster, and simply get down to creation. So not having the ability to create an entrance really killed the hype for me. I'm gonna stick with 2k19 another year, I guess...

Although there is some very minor things they should fix for 2k23 if 2K keeps the WWE games like certain reversals & adding more match types. Also enable player's to defend titles against friends and others online would be cool.

I'm on PC & had the game 3 days early. I legit haven't even had 1 crash & didn't have the accepting the terms over & over glitch! I'm running everything on ultra & its is juts simply beautiful! The Gameplay is so fun! I'm a hardcore gamer, & have been a huge Wrestling fan all my life. I can tell they played it safe with certain things, but only to make sure the basic founder is great! Overall the game is very good! Once they have Online Vs Crossplay & flush out the modes! Gonna be Even Better!
The only reason I'm considering buying is the return of the GM mode. It sounds like it's not on the same level as the awesome days of 1007's Smackdown v Raw GM days, but can anybody say if it's a worthy mode return?

To be honest, I'm happy it's actually turned itself around. But I do want more and more customization options and removing the attire limits (what is point of that anyways?). Another feature I want is a voice recognization for names so I can speak a name and they'll say that name instead of having a limited selection.
As for characters, I really would like Matt Hardy to be DLC... I am a bit disappointed he isn't in game (I know he is in AEW, but so is Jeff).
With the passing of Scott Hall today I'm going to have to pick up the NWO edition of this game now.

That’s what I hate about playing against actual humans. Plenty of times I didn’t even care who won anymore. I just wanted it to end. I prefer playing against the a.i on hardest difficulty.
Yeah, only way to consistently win is by submission signatures of finishers. I’ve played dozens of matches online, including elimination chambers. I have never been pinned once.
Even when my whole body was red and I had no health, I still kicked out.

Graphics and presentation are better than they’ve ever been, but the control scheme is ridiculous (2 buttons for a finisher) and it feels more arcady than sim now. I’m not a fan of the Tic-tac-toe reversal system either, and the menu music sucks this year. I always have to question the absence of new legends and the inclusion of celebrities as DLC.
All in all, it’s worth $65 if you have it…but if you’re still playing 2K19 than it’s not worth the upgrade.

I bought deluxe mainly for rvd because yeah something that annoys me is that I tried to make dx but I couldn’t buy Shawn Michaels and I tried to do apa but no jbl and I realized I had to play showcase to get them but I just wanted to buy them that’s my once critique other than Dominick also being unlockable
I’m enjoying the game. Its fun and a solid foundation for future games.

My only complaint is it is hit or miss on getting online. I haven't been able to for 3 days now. I really want to get some CAWs and championship belts and arenas.

Not at all, this game feels like 2K20.2 to me. Animations feel rubbery, clipping is still bad, CAW mode face creation is broken on PC and GM mode pales in comparison to the SVR games. I live by the code if you're not gonna top the best leave it alone and they didn't even top 2K19 which wasn't as good as the SVR series.

The only great thing about 2K22 is its presentation. The menus look good, the graphics, the lighting, the entrances etc, all look damn good. That's where it stops. I'm not impressed with anything else about the game.

I, for the life of me, cannot see why the took out table stacking. And we still have limitations when placing tables. Except for that, the game is better, but the in .watch grunts do get alil repetitive.

The fact that the current smackdown arena is not apart of the arena creation suite, is one thing. The height and weight adjustments in superstar creation suite, is another problem. Title creation suite is missing key title components. Entrance creation is horrible and they couldve at least had past entrance themes and music from the wwe entrance cd volumes. And removing OMG moments wasn't the greatest idea. Universe mode is always okay, still feel like there are things they could have capitalized on, Superstar mode inside universe mode is awesome. I am taking my time to go through the game, but so far it gets 6.5/10

One thing I caught while playing my 2k22 on ps4 was if you play a match in the smackdown arena the commentary will mention pat which is better then nothing.
My local gamestop has a near open ended layby system so I'm going to wait for a month before I pick up the game, as I pre-ordered the full package. By then the patches will be coming in along with any more DLC's being announced. I'm honestly not completely sold yet.
It's good but not great needs improvements in areas and needs to quit crashing and glitching.

Is there a chance to revert to the old intro? The new one feels really sudden and I always get scared because it comes out of nowhere and it’s s bit loud, while CM Punk’s theme is iconic to this channel IMO.

One of the things I find irritating that they didn’t fix for superstars and their entrances is the Pyro some superstars don’t have it all and it’s kind of sad we don’t get to like create entrances or move sets for the superstars so we can’t even fix it
I really don’t see the point behind the My Faction mode. I’m not a fan of micro transactions, so I won’t be playing that mode when I get the game.
Been playing since the 8th. As someone who doesn't understand why people thought 2K14 or 19 were actually good games...this is by and large the best work 2K has done so far, and probably the best game since SvR 07. It doesn't stand on the same pedestals as SD2, SYM, HCTP or SvR 06...but it's a great foundation for 2K to build on now and would could have a truly amazing game again if they can manage to "Smackdown 2" 2K23. As a trophy hunter...my biggest worry is what MyFaction is going to end up turning into in the future, a heavily monetized, multiplayer grindfest, it's okay now though it does make the Platinum a little annoying...but I can very much see this is the mode 2K is going to focus on going forward, and sadly...people are going to spend money on it. Overall the game doesn't quite bring me back to the days of not being able to get enough...but I've enjoyed myself more here than I have in a very long time.
I will say this, the main thing that annoys me is how fast the match pacing is. Everyone kicks out of everything. Also there are alot of mechanics missing. Simple things like ultimate control during finishers, and running irish whips are inexplicably missing...
What game doesn’t come with bugs, that’s why it’s best too go digital so it can keep updating while powered off or playing something else
