Hi Laura, with your white fly issue on your brassicas, try netting them - I use a fine net over hoops and set into the bed - which allows the sunshine in, but keeps the pests out - well, all except rats who chew through the netting and eat all your produce (which is what happened to me last year!!!). It's Autumn here so I am looking at planting all our winter veg at the moment - I don't have a very big garden so space is limited, but I still manage to grow quite a bit. Sad to hear the goings on at your allotment - I guess people are doing it tough, but I have never understood vandalism - I just don't get it!! Give Harvey a hug for me and take care xxx
I love the seed box. So organised, with each pack labelled by month. I wonder, give tomatoes a try in your back garden rather than the allotment. See how they turnout. Pumpkins sound great. They need very rich compost, south facing position and lots of water. Plus the female flower needs polinating. Please keep us posted on how things are growing ❤
Hello Laura, I just got in from the library and saw your vlog straight away. I am terribly sorry that you have had some vandalism at your allotment. I am afraid I do not know what to say. I can see and feel your energy, enjoyment and enthusiasm with your allotment. After all, (and I do not need to tell you) a lot of planning, energy and love for growing things go into having a garden. PS I did think of one thing and thought I would mention it. The other day while I was out shopping I saw a sign in a store window which read: “Smile you are on Video”. I wonder if a sign similar to this in the allotment might deter would-be pilferers..? I am sure seed planning can be lots of fun and bring one enjoyment! Happy Easter to you..! 🐇 🐥🐿🇨🇦

You are funny. You have a beautiful home. Tip: get yourself a cordless leaf blower I finally bought one and it is the best thing every. So quick to blow off porch, patio, driveway, whatever. And fun to use. Only drawback is it is loud.

Grow your tomatoes at home Laura I do growing them on the allotment is a real risk unless you find a tasty blight resistant variety 🤷♀️
