    Thank you for explaining why to use the glass cutting mat, why to use a coffee cup as a hot tool holder, and why to use the metal ruler upside down. Great teaching🎖️

    Amazing video! I know i'm 10 months late seeing this but WOW, super informative and really helpful! Custom sized sleeves are so expensive nowadays, so it's awesome to have a cheap diy alternative. Thank you so much for making this video and sharing your method, it's much appreciated! 💜

    Thank you for this! A few years ago I tried looking up something similar like this and even thought about using my laminator to create pages but never got around to experimenting 🙈
    Hopefully I’ll be able to have fun and create and finally buy the tools I’ve been eyeing for so long 😅

      OMG...the fusing tool was really easy to work with once you get the hang of it. Best of all, the fusing tool only cost 2.5 Korean album PCs 😉Wishing you a ton of fun creating cool stuff 🥰

    Thank you for this video. I've been wanting to create my own sleeves and custom pocket pages, so this is a fantastic, informative and timely video for me. I've always been so impressed with how you customise your pages in your BTS binders. They all look so aesthetically appealing. I throughly enjoy your content. - Cherie from New Zealand. :)

    I've always wondered how you created your pages!! I also customize my sleeves, usually I sew the pages with a sewing machine, the result is not super professional like yours but for the moment I like how they turn out! Sooner or later, however, I would also like to buy a fuse tool!

    The suspense I felt every time your fusing tool was near a photocard... 😂 I'd definitely damage them (both the pcs and my fingers probably), I'm way too clumsy for things like that 😅 Loved the video though, you explain everything in a perfect way!

    I actually got my fuse tool months before just for the purpose of making my own pocket page and I'm so relieved to see you use it too! I love your creativity in making the pages. My only issue with the fuse tool (and I even have the same one as you!) is that mine gets hot so quickly ive burnt through so many pages even when its barely the first 5 minutes. T.T Do you do anything special to keep the tool at the rigth temp? I have to unplug mine after every line I draw or else it gets too hot and its so tiring! T.T

    • @funtimeswithek
      @funtimeswithek  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Uggghhh...I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your fuse tool. I actually haven't encountered that issue. I keep my tool plugged in for hours when I'm doing a batch of custom sleeves/pages. I only use the fine tip when I want to seal and cut sleeves and the rest of the time, I use the rolling tip. When I have the tool on for a while, I do use less pressure. I'm sure you've tried that already. 2 things come to mind: 1) it could be a voltage issue🤔 In the US, we use a 120V and maybe you're using a higher voltage than that; and 2) might be a defect with the tool 😬 I'm sorry, I couldn't be of much help. I'm hoping that you're able to resolve and continue to make your own cool stuff 🤞🏼

    • @missbuhnana
      @missbuhnana ปีที่แล้ว

      @FunTimesWithEK thank you so much for the reply!! I agree with your ide about the voltage. Since I ordered it from Amazon and I'm in Hong Kong, it took me a while to find a socket to be able to use it 🥲🥲 it's sad but I'll try to find my way around it. Thank you so much!!!

      Hi there 🤗 I’m not sure if you’re asking what sleeves I use or pocket pages. So I’ll answer both.
      For the sleeves, I use any sleeve that closely fits the PC, photo, or postcard. I live in the US, so I use sleeves from MeowCafe, Prism Platinum, Mandu Deco, Sleeve Kings, and Make Them Last.
      For the 1 pocket page, I use Meow Cafe, Meet XY, and Avery sheet protectors.
      If you want more information, let me know the timestamp or just DM me on my IG and I am happy to help 😉 Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment 🫶🏽🥰🫶🏽

    what item did you use for cuttering?

    • @funtimeswithek
      @funtimeswithek  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there 🤗 The paper cutter I frequently use is a fiskars 12 in one that I bought from Amazon a long time ago. Fiskars has a lot of different sizes that you can choose from. I hope this helps. Please send me a DM via my IG if you have any questions. And thank you for watching 💜

    I don’t have a fusing tool 😞 is it possible to use something else?

    • @funtimeswithek
      @funtimeswithek  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry…it’s taking me a while to answer you because I have not really used an alternative to the fusing tool. However, you can consider the following:
      1. Soldering tool - it’s a heating tool as well. I haven’t use this and I can’t really give advice on this. I do know that you will want to use low temp setting so you don’t burn the plastic.
      2. You can also sew the pocket pages
      3. Just use double sided tape to tape down your PCs, postcards, etc. Make sure they are sleeved as this type of tapes are not acid free. I have been using Scotch double sided tape
      4. There are other alternatives but to buy the supplies for those is as costly as getting a fusing tool or soldering tool
      Sorry, I’m not of much help 😔

    This is a great instructional video 🥰. Helps with different ideas too 💜. Have you tried that brand’s fuseables mat with holster? Just wondering vs a glass mat. 🫶🏻

    • @funtimeswithek
      @funtimeswithek  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OMG! Unfortunately, I haven’t tried the fuseables as I haven’t checked out any new tools…so didn’t know it existed. But that would be so awesome if there’s a lighter and cheaper alternative for the glass mat 😊 I might have to check this out! 🥰
