The brooks univeral fighting board is all i use for my majority of portable arcade sticks. Have you see the "Retro Board" version, allow you to plug it to older consoles, nes, snes, ps1,ps2 and more with additional plug adapter you can buy. The best thing ever!! Nice video. Thanks.
I got 2 cheap zero delay encoders, 1 for each player. Then I soldered the encoder button wires to the corresponding button wire on a Jamma extension, and leave all the other wires untouched. I can just then plug my controls with usb through jamma and plug a raspberry pi in my arcade cab without removing its original wiring, and i can still use Pandora Box's & jamma PCBs in it that way
This video just helped me to work out why my SJ@JX encoder is not working on my DIY Switch pinball cab. It also needs A+B held when the Switch is powered on. Nowhere else had this information come up and I have been searching a lot! Thanks Wicked 👍🏽
muchly appreciating that this video features some interesting hardware around gaming that's not a Soc Sbc in whatever case or not. If there's more like this to make a review about - please do :-)
Hi friend, how did you do to work on hyperspin?, because I bought a hyperspin pack already configured for the xbox360 controller to use on pc, and I'm wanting to buy this universal card or the other that is white and newer. What do you think?
I have 2 of these brook universal encoders in my bartop arcade. It works great except when I turn on the arcade it defaults to Xbox one which I’ve learnt the hard way doesn’t play nice with hyperspin.

For Rapsberry Pi the cheap zero encoder boards are really good. But for windows I would definitly recommend something that is recognized as x360 controller. The fighting board is too expensive for my taste.
Need to get this out of the way. If you need a cheap Alternative to the universal fighting board. The brook Zero pi for 25-30€/$ Because these cheap zero delays have rly bad response time
I built my own little arcade stick for use with an RPi and my Super Retrocade using a Zero Delay USB Encoder - do you know if any of the stand-alone Pandora jungle works with something like that?
Wicked.. That a exclent board.. But look for dobe 7 in 1 stick fighting... It's amazing.. Small but very well made. I use in my ps4.. xbox one X.. And pc fighting games... DOBE 7 IN 1... VERY CHEAP TOO
I have the Partycade Centipede 8-1. The encoder board needs to be replaced. Without having to MOD the Partycade, which encoder board do you recommend to purchase?
man... i bought a razor atrox... found out it works with nothing else but "fighting games". how can i modify the control to work with all games? also is it possible to add a direcitonal pad to the arcade stick??
did you think you would be playing fps games on it? but for real, it will work with anything that you can play without a right stick. I use mine for side scrollers all the time
@@muffinman2349I originally purchased it to play fighting games. speaking of MK11 works minus the Dpad. I thought the effing thing would at least run games minus the directional pad.. like side scrollers. CupHead and such. I would really like to add a directional pad to the stick... but I lack the knowledge. But yes. I would like for it to be able to run all games on xbox one anyways..

I've got a few of those 0delay cheapo boards. Use em with my pi 3b+ they work as well as the cheap wiggle sticks and wicked knock off buttons!
Yeah those cheap ones used them a lot on the pi 😅
Wow nice universal 🕹arcade stick
Thanks vampie ! 😀

This was the best video I seen you make besides all the console clone emulators.
you can use the retro board and ps5 board as add ons to really cover ALL systems
What a game is this.
The first fighting game
Killer Instinct on PC .. can be played also on Xbox One 😀
Very interesting video and impressed it works with that many different systems

I was really thinking of getting one to update my old hori fight stick. It's a bit on the pricy side which is my main block.
So this board works with Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo and PC?
Great information I'm learning.
👍👍
Do you need ribbon cables and does it support suzo-happ and Industrious Lorenzo joystick and buttons ?
Beside the board. Do you need to purchase the wire as well. Like Separately???
What was that game after Killer instinct? It looked nice

How did you get past the default to box part?

@@oswaldojunior447 I would go with the Brooks board it works great 👍
Im gonna stick to the 0delay that comes with the kit I'm getting lol. Great compatibility and would be great for building your own stick.
Got a link?
oh, i didn't dig deeper into this topic yet, maybe i should

I wonder how they made a board universal because there isnt anyway to do this i can see on the internet
Great video, question if I wanted to change the guts of a Pandora’s box with the Sanwa clones which board would you use? Cheers

@@laughingman5743 there should be a switch labeled ls rs dp. Left stick, right stick, d pad. Switch that to whatever you want the stick to emulate
