Because alot of kids on dbikes are assholes and tear up the trails often not meant for dbikes.they haul ass thru neighborhoods ,and sorry but nobody wants to hear dbikes run up n down streets they are noisy and annoying.notice how these kids think they arent endangering people even though they are leading cops on a chase thru residential neighborhoods.its the same mentality as those groups of riders have who drive on sidewalks ,do wheelies in traffic and thumb their noses to law.there is a reason why they enforce laws and just like the reason why there are laws vs this behavior at all,is because these idiots are too young and still at the age of stupidity that they think they will never have an accident,never hurt themselvs or others.
But if you saw what alot of cops see and have seen and shit u can even find on youtube,its not always the dbikes that cause the accident .99% of the time they are responsible for what happens,but im sure these pricks would be mad if it was their little sister who was hurt by a bike flying thru a yard.its just like drunk driving,you may not always be the reason you get caught,someone may rear ended you and u got nabbed for driving drunk. I loved riding dirt bikes when I was a kid too. We ran from Police countless times, a few times we got caught but the Police just lectured us for being on the roads with unlicensed vehicles and the risks we were taking by riding on the main roads. It wasn't until 2 good friends of mine got killed after running into the back of a flatbed tow truck at 40mph that we finally stopped. it was tragic and everyone was devastated by the accident. I still think about it to this very day. She and her boyfriend (both only 15) were on their way back from the flats (as we called them) when it started getting dark and she didn't see the truck stopped on the side of the road ahead of her and she plowed into it at 40mph killing her instantly (because she was driving) and fatally injuring her boyfriend who died 3 days later from head injuries and internal bleeding. I had taken that road countless times on my way home and often would speed too...let's just say it cured me from disobeying the laws. It was fun while it lasted, but as in all good things, it came to a tragic and abrupt end.

the dirt bikes are not made for the road. dirt bikes have wheels that dig into dirt to get their grip which will not work on asphalt. dirtbikes also have no lights no blinkers no horns all those things make it unsafe for dirtbikes to be driven on the road apart from the fact its illegal to drive them on the road. then again the smaller one looks like a mini bike which is if i remember correctly only allowed on private property. all legit reasons to get arrested. its weird though that youtube allows them to stay on youtube since they clearly broken youtube laws as well.

Look, I don't have a problem with dirt bike riders so long as they don't damage private property. Heck I love riding myself, but I'm not going to dig ruts and berms into a stranger's property without expecting a little if not a lot of resistance. And they obviously know it's illegal to ride on public roads yet always act nuts when chased by police doing so?

@@geeewhizz3245 Funny you say that because as a youth we used to steal sweet corn from a local farmer's field. Heck my parents used to send us out to get it lol. A trash bag each. The farmer would shoot at us with a salt gun. Yes they existed back in the 70's/80's. Today? That same farmer would go to jail in a heartbeat but back then we knew the risks and understood the consequences. Shoot what we used to take was less than 1/10th of 1%, or even 1/10th of that but it was the principal of it. He'd sick his dogs on us as well. And we deserved it. Today's kids think they're untouchable and can do whatever they feel and never get disciplined for it.

I convinced my parents to buy my one because I wanted to do target practice or shoot birds (Which ended up being parked car windows). I was snagged and had to cut my neighbor's grass for a year to pay for that window. If I got sent home with a note from my teacher my Mother believed the teacher and I got the hard end. Same went with anyone of authority, teachers, police, even neighbors. Today's precious children rule the roost and know they can even get their own parents arrested for laying a hand on them for discipline. No fear means no respect.

All the people I see running don't have street legal bikes. If you want to ride on the road you should go get a dual sport bike and go get your motorcycle license/endorsement. Or go off-road, some places don't have many spots to ride at though.
