Your channel has been such a godsend; truly appreciate your clear explanations and perfect pacing ❤❤❤ your videos have taught me more than several hours of hands on labs from aws 😅
Thanks for watching, George! 🙏 The data is stored in S3 (with an Athena table and AWS Glue catalog created automatically). The online store is basically the most recent version of that data, and it lives in cache (which is why it's so fast). (The offline store requires a query to S3 using Athena/Glue.) There's a little bit of configuration you can do in the offline store in terms of the table format, but I'm not aware of a way (for online or offline) to change where it actually stores the data. I've done some searching for any examples/case studies of doing that, but I'm not finding anything.
It's really helpful, sweet & short, thanks for making it. People like me who don't like to read a book this kind of video is like oxygen for us. Please try to make other sagemaker and AWS ML related video 🙂
Hi again Vuk! Here are some screenshots of the new UI: aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/new-redesigned-ui-for-amazon-sagemaker-studio/. Feature Store should be under the "Data" item. 😊
Hi Nehal! 😊 That block of code isn't actually executable (since the notebook isn't hooked up to any streams of data), but is just for reference. There's a blog here that explains streaming a bit better (scroll down the page a little): aws.amazon.com/blogs/machine-learning/using-streaming-ingestion-with-amazon-sagemaker-feature-store-to-make-ml-backed-decisions-in-near-real-time/.
Hi @hatsuharu333! 👋 Apologies for the slow response. If you're still looking for an answer...SageMaker Studio provides a convenient UI for experimenting with SageMaker services like Feature Store, but you can also work with Feature Store outside of that, using the AWS console, CLI or SDKs as well. Hope that helps!

Many thanks, as always, Cai! 😊
15:00 while I run the code for streaming data ingestion, it gives me an error stating NameError: name 'mpg' is not defined. Kindly help

Can you use Feature Store without using SageMaker studio?
