I own 17 Parkers , they had a great shop near my home here in Chicago (Mundelein)....there are no better instruments on this planet!!......congrats on the DragonFly!!!!! ...its gorgeous!!!! ...I have been a Parker nut since their beginnings ....2016 broke my heart- when Ken and the beautiful instruments soon vanished......the American built ones, they are all works on art!!!...
That dragonfly is gorgeous! Congratulations for getting it back. My favorite Parker is the Concert Bronze and the few sellers there are want ridiculous money for them - between 6 and 10 grand. I'll keep dreaming.

I picked up a DF422 FR (used) some years back for very little money. It's a bolt-on all wood neck with a natural satin finish, but US made and has a Floyd. DragnFly contours. I love it. Light as a feather, says in tune, and so ergonomic. Glad I snagged it when I did. The used price of Parkers continues to climb. Parkers are so easy to play.
I picked up a MaxxFly just this past February for my birthday. Tobacco burst with a Floyd Rose. I am completely blown away by that guitar and do not ever see letting it go.
I'm loving the color of that Parker, I have a weak spot for anything in that burnt orange metallic shade. Recently got a Sun Valley Super Shredder in Lambo orange and every time I look at it it blows me away.
I’ve had a Parker since 2007. Absolutely love it. In fact my kids who are now grown are fighting over who gets it when I kick the bucket. Plays great, feels great and sounds awesome. Great pick up Phil.

I had one of the import PDF60 models from Sweetwater. Eggshell white with ebony board. When I received it, two of the locking tuners were completely seized up. So Sweetwater gave me three options, return for refund, return for replacement, or they would send me new tuners. I chose the last option. Two days later they showed up, an entire set of six which was nice. Once I got it playing I really fell in love with it. I was going to whack in a Seymour Duncan JB all along but the stock pickup sounded so good I just left it. It had a vibrato that only went one way, you couldn't pull up. But it stayed in tune so I left it as well. I kept it for years before trading it. Wish I hadn't now. I see them on Reverb for around $400-ish. Seeing this video I may just get me another one, or a real one like the Adrian Belew signature model. And those other guitars you got are also sweet! The PRS 513 is one sexy machine!

I knew it had to be a USA Parker guitar... simply the greatest electric guitar ever made.. NOTHING comes close to them. Have by pre-refined fly deluxe for 27 years now.. and still my favorite.

It's really sad that anything you buy is only worth what someone is willing to pay. For instance, to me the latest Epiphone Les Paul Juniors are exactly the same as the latest Gibson Les Paul Juniors but the price difference is about $1000.00. I have two of the Epiphones, I bought one that the neck was snapped at the nut and I took it in and repaired it. It sounds better to me than the one that was not damaged. It's probably a compassionate psychic thing in my brain. Your Dragonfly is a beautiful guitar and the story is absolute.
There aren't many quality videos about Parker guitars so I'm excited about your videos with it. I'd love to see and hear it in more detail. Congrats on the great purchase.

Great! I once had a Parker Fly bass fourstring (DiMarzio Jazz pickups). I guess around 2004/5? Best bass I ever owned! I had to sell it to get a Steinberger electric upright for a band I started playing in..., wich was also a great bass (still own it). 🖖
I love Parker guitars! I traded in a bunch of gear and worked hard as a kid to get a p38 as my first non-gifted/starter-kit axe. I also have a Nitefly and Fly that I love to death, and have always wanted to find a Dragon/Maxfly. That orange one is especially nice, and I hope you enjoy it as much as humanly possibly. Congrats!

Good video wonderful collection. I think a person would be proud to own only any one so I think this is amazing. I play mostly acoustic now but started electric in the 80s which many say is backwards . Never heard of Parker but looks amazing . I live in a small town and no store had a Parker I ever saw . But I could tell it was high quality . Nothing like the feeling we get when we purchase new gear especially when it is a guitar the emotion just repeats itself every time very cool

You’ll be lucky to get a pair of socks for Christmas this year after that purchase! The wife might just put you out on the corner with the KYG cup to collect spare change!
That's a really nice Parker and I love that 513. I have a 2008 PRS 513 and it's amazing. The only thing that could be better, for me, would be if it had the pattern thin neck instead of the wide fat profile.

I owned a 7 string version of the metallic orange Maxxfly and while it was my dream guitar for many years, it just didn’t play as well as the prerefined Flys that I owned, so I sold it. Still very beautiful!

I had to look up the price for a used Crop Circle guitar, I have one that has only been played to tune it. I had no idea that they had that much value. I bought it only to collect...glad to see it has value...lol
One of my first guitar teachers used a Parker Fly. I always loved the shape. If I wasn't just a little kid back then, I would've tried getting one before they went out of business just to have in the collection.

i had a regular Fly for a couple of months last year. Definitely would get one again if there'd be more room...

That Swamp Ash 513 is a real gem! I have the newer 509 version and these are great guitars that PRS should continue to make!
