Thinking about getting a pilot's license one of these days. I notice many of the planes in this video are equipped with "tail dragger" landing gear. How much difference is there taking off/landing a plane with this style of landing gear than a conventional (tricycle) landing gear. More challenging? Less? Just different?
Tim...Do this Experiment...Walk backwards and see how many steps you can complete without stumbling... That should give you the level of difficulty of flying a tail dragger... That's why you have to get a separate endorsement for it...Its not natural,... That big "Fan" upfront is CONSTANTLY tryna twist you 'round... Gotta be on "toes" to keep that from happening....
