    Cool stuff Andy. As an avid motorcyclist and as someone who works in the dairy industry and deals with all the same fittings at work, you're ticking all the boxes. LOL

    Nice to see a skilled man working, I’m not particularly skilled but can recognise one who is.

    As an Engineer for 25 years always enjoy these videos and the best part is I don’t have to listen to an over the top American with no clue what he’s actually doing 😎👍

    We just use weld in a reducing tee when we want to do this in a hygienic pipe but an interesting way to get a similar result if a reducing tee is not available.

    Content? - yep it’s an issue with every creator.
    But these are good as I also watch engineering stuff on other channels.

    Very interesting what you do. I work in analyzer equipment. Oil and gas but also diary , milk powder production. Some similarities are there. I dont weld though.

    All you need to do is figure out how to adapt a bike engine (preferably a Ducati lol) to run the pumps, or really anything that needs to turn, and you'll satisfy multiple audiences.... I'm sure that would be food safe.

    Not much motorcycle stuff? I just seen how to make up a branch puller. To make and fabricate 'balancing pipe' in between two stainless pipes for a V twin? Not that I need to... Cheers Mate!

    Geeze Andy, how have you got into this line of work? Is there companies that provide these sorts of services for wineries and breweries?

    • @ANDY5
      @ANDY5  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I started when I successfully applied for a Maintenance Fitter role at Carlton and United Breweries in the '90's, prior to CUB I was a Maintenance Fitter in an abattoir. I worked in a variety of roles for CUB for 20 years, Maintenance Fitter, Technical Trainer and Engineering Manager. After leaving the breweries I worked as a Project Manager doing large engineering projects in a zinc works before I was approached by the winery via an industry colleague. Yes there are a number of businesses that provide winery maintenance, only one in Tas and it is very limited. I am fortunate enough to be a fitter and turner with a class 'B' electrical license and over a quarter of a century of beverage industry experience. I have considered operating as an independent contractor but then I slap myself and go back to my nice little job with super and leave entitlements.

      @@ANDY5 certainly have some hand skills in the locker and the company must be very fortunate to have it at its disposal! I’d be keen to see more work shop stuff, top quality!
