I was an ER/Trauma nurse for 20 years and I can't tell you how many funny things folks say and do when coming out of any anesthesia except for Propofol. Once you stop administering Propofol, it metabolizes so quickly that folks are fully awake within 10 to 15 minutes. However, Versed (which is most common behind Propofol and using Propofol requires specific training), gives some hilarious results when folks are under as well as coming to. There is a reason that anything said under anesthesia isn't admissible in court.

My dentist gave me a call 2 weeks later and bought me a nasi kandar because i made him crave it too hahahhahaha
If I were a teenage boy, I wouldn't want my Mother there while I was recovering from that. I thought the one at 6:40 was going to say something he might regret.
If it makes anybody feel any better, I was put under twilight anesthesia once for wisdom tooth surgery and afterwards I was a little out of it but otherwise didn't say or do anything embarrassing, so it really depends on the person. The most embarrassing thing was that I needed help finding the exit of the clinic lol. People react differently to different drugs. It depends a lot on individual biology, dosage, personality, and circumstances. I was terrified that I'd say or do something embarrassing during or after my wisdom tooth removal but thankfully I didn't (possibly because I was aware that it was a possibility and consciously resisted it). Well, after the surgery at least. If I said something during surgery I wouldn't remember it, and the nurses and doctors didn't say I did but they might've just been being polite. But if you're like me and afraid of saying or doing something embarrassing, just know that not everybody has that reaction to anesthesia and try not to talk too much following it. The less you talk, the less chance there is of saying something embarrassing lol.
The reason why those doctors and nurses are being nice to you ..... is because you embarrassed yourself. I did and I don't even remember what I said. Im glad i didn't have video of me, but it would've destroyed me 😂
@@Mark3nd Why do you have to say things like that? I was minding my own business, you didn't need to come along and say that I embarrassed myself and that's why they were being nice. You weren't there, you don't know why they were being nice. Maybe you're right, but maybe you're wrong. Either way thanks for making me self-conscious and paranoid that I actually did do/say something embarrassing now.
When I got my tonsils removed they said that they had to use double the dose to put me out and I still woke up early. Got up after and felt like nothing changed got told I was a weird patient for having no after effects at all.
I've had anesthesia once and I don't remember any of it. I don't remember them giving it to me and I barely remember what happened after my surgery. I just remember someone asking me how I was and I just grumbled and fell back asleep. I also remember trying to talk to my mom on the phone after and I was just not making sense. Then it took me like an hour and a half to eat my dinner because I kept falling asleep.
I love when they get ticked off or overly affectionate. Like, people saying their partner's attractive or acting like they're best friends with the nurses.
The only thing I remember after recovering from anesthesia is I was mad like hilariously pissed and my dad was feeding me sherbert which I was angrily eating but I was too tired and derped out to do anything about it. My mom gave me a Graham cracker and told me to finish it so I could get some food in my system. She gave me the cracker in the car and I had a couple nibbles. I got home and still had the cracker. I don't think I've ever been so mad in my life 😂 I thought I was gonna chuck the cracker across the room but I ended up just pathetically dropping it out of my hand. It hurt my feelings but I was still pissed.
Had my thyroid removed and kept feeling a trickle down my side. Being a retired ICU nurse, I knew I wasn't sweating. Turned out I was hemorrhaging, and I couldn't speak. So, I just held up my bloody hands and was whisked back into surgery.
After my brothers wisdom teeth got taken out when he was 17 or so, he wanted to see his shoes so bad, my grandma had to keep him sitting down. Bro deadass looked her in the eyes and said “Grandma. Back up.” 😭😭 Funniest thing ever bc my brother is a very soft spoken guy
I had my surgery 23/24 days ago.... Waking up from anesthesia is a dramatic scene... Firstly I recognised noise..then I felt like I was in paradox like in the " Interstellar movie" ...then I realised myself that I'm exist and my name..then I remembered my mother ...and I started to call my MOTHER who exists only in my deepest level of brain... Because she left the world some years ago...then I felt sad ....but I had to wake up......
After both my surgeries all I can remember is crying from pain. They told me that the pain would be severe for both but I don't remember having time to be all loopy lol. My mom said after my endoscopy I was a little loopy tho.
Last time I was in anesthesia was during the pandemic when people couldn't really leave their homes (except for essential workers of course) and I had a meltdown because I thought the zombie apocalypse was happening and that's why people weren't outside anymore 😂 Actually when I got home my sister said she was a zombie and I ended up crying while running screaming at my mom/other sister to stay away from her. There was a video of it that I refuse to watch again lmao.
We had to pick up my cousin once after her surgery. She just rolled her head around and said "MY HEAD......IS HEAVY.....AS FUUU" then she yelled "hey am I WHISPERING! I'm talking that because you're LISTENING stupid. Always evesdropping" then she fell asleep 😂
I saw one where the girls husband kissed her when she woke up. She looked over at her mom and said, Mom this guy is kissing me." Then looked back at her husband and said, " you're really cute!"
I used to believe these videos were just an act or over extradited people until I got 7 teeth out. I woke up ranting to the dentists on how great of a commander Julius Ceaser was.
When I got my wisdom teeth removed and was on anesthesia, I flip off literally everything and kept falling over, and my family recorded the whole thing 😭😭
Coming off anesthesia for wisdom teeth, I said 3 distinct silly things: 1. I looked up at my husband (who's black), then at the nurse, then back at my husband, pointed at him and said "Look at that cute black guy....I MARRIED him..." 2. I told the nurse she was a good dance partner as she was helping me walk to the car. 3. I told my best friend I was now a witcher since I remember them injecting several things into the IV Anesthesia = FUN times.
before my surgery as i was going under they were talking me through it and they were saying how the medicine smells like nail polish and they were asking me stuff like have i been to the nail salon and idk why but i was laughing my butt off when they were talking about strip malls but then i went silent and started getting scared because i forgot my name and i remembered saying bye to my parents but not remembering what they looked like, i even forgot why i was there.
When I was 14 back in 1986, that they took wisdom teeth out was numbing the gum by sticking the needle in the gum & then pulling the tooth out. I can actually hear the crunching noise of the tooth while it was coming out. The only thing I had to worry about was that my mouth & lips were numb for a while.
My mom is always upset because I never give like any reactions after surgery’s. After I got surgery when I broke my knuckle and finger really badly I came out just almost completely normal. I was talking to my step dad about baseball I think😂 but I do remember i thought I was like just in my gown and ready to go.. and then the nurse came in and starting taking all these different things attached to me including being strapped in and not knowing at all.. I was basically just floating and didn’t feel anything it was great.. Then after my wisdom teeth it was actually really crappy because before hand they poked me like 8 times overall trying to get an IV in and had to do it in my foot. And when they have me laughing gas I got really anxious and felt really shitty and when I woke up I ended up puking a ton of like water. So my experiences are really mixed but I never get really funny or out of this world high

the thing is no matter how careful you are, sometimes your body just decides something needs to go lol. i just got gallbladder surgery. thankfully most people seem to just wake up without any of the silliness
People think this reveals some dark truth but u literally just say random bullshit. Even if u "reveal" secrets they are just made up fantasies
Right 👍🏾
That's why I'm scared of anesthesia cuz my all secrets will be revealed 🤣😂😅
When you don't live in the US, and didn't know that they literally only make you high there.. lemme tell you I scared shitless of spilling some beans after watching videos like these😂
A lot of these are obviously fake/acting, but yes, that's pretty much how it is 😂 Our medical system is so messed up.
@@Adelicowsthey make you high so YOU DONT FEEL IT. DO UOU WANNA FEEL THEM CUTTING AROUND IN YOU ? DO YOU WANNA BE AWAKE WHILE THEY CUT YOUR TONSILS OUT I DONT THINK SO
After my Dad had a long complex surgery on his way to his room he was singing the theme song to the Lone Ranger. Mom told me to walk way back from him so no one would know we were with him.
I am screeching with laughter picturing the gurney wheeling down the hall with him singing that tune!!!!!!
"How did I sneak a gun into the hospital?"
Haha.. the last time i had anaesthesia at a dentist i couldnt stop talking about "Nasi Kandar" (curry rice)
I went on and on talking about how to cook it and how to best eat it and its different flavors and stuff.
My dentist gave me a call 2 weeks later and bought me a nasi kandar because i made him crave it too hahahhahaha
3:03 "That looks like sausages
Put that in my eggs tomorrow" 😂
I woke up and said “ When are you going to start?” and they told me it was done.
This is horrifying to me. I'm a very private natured person and would be absolutely mortified.
Hope I don't have a word vomit. Surgery coming soon🥲
I can't believe they're just sitting around filming instead of taking the loaded gun away from the spaced out dude.
When I got my tonsils removed they said that they had to use double the dose to put me out and I still woke up early. Got up after and felt like nothing changed got told I was a weird patient for having no after effects at all.
Are u a redhead? That is pretty common in gingers
@@linneacreates my mom is my red only shows in my beard
I've had anesthesia once and I don't remember any of it. I don't remember them giving it to me and I barely remember what happened after my surgery. I just remember someone asking me how I was and I just grumbled and fell back asleep. I also remember trying to talk to my mom on the phone after and I was just not making sense. Then it took me like an hour and a half to eat my dinner because I kept falling asleep.
I love when they get ticked off or overly affectionate. Like, people saying their partner's attractive or acting like they're best friends with the nurses.
You would like the girl on anesthesia who wants to marry her male nurse.
“🎶 We’re gonna get…. MAAAARRRRIED!”
“Walter White’s got it figured oUt bbbROo”
“Lewk at the pEeCAHNn”
"They look like sausages, nice, put them in my eggs tomorrow." Hahahaha
I kept freaking out about "my missing neck" when I woke up from my dental surgery
Had my thyroid removed and kept feeling a trickle down my side. Being a retired ICU nurse, I knew I wasn't sweating. Turned out I was hemorrhaging, and I couldn't speak. So, I just held up my bloody hands and was whisked back into surgery.
I once dreamt of a cotton candy land with weird rabbits when i was in Anesthesia
After my brothers wisdom teeth got taken out when he was 17 or so, he wanted to see his shoes so bad, my grandma had to keep him sitting down. Bro deadass looked her in the eyes and said “Grandma. Back up.” 😭😭
Funniest thing ever bc my brother is a very soft spoken guy
Post the video on TH-cam please
@@ScrappytheCholoo bro I wish I could but I don’t think I have the video anymore😔
"YOU STOLE MY NIPPLES!" 🤣
Has anyone else just cried for missing everyone and for how much people help after the surgery? That’s me💀💀
yea i did, i was crying n calling them angels

"LiKe ThE bAbY's BoTtOm"
That boy that kept calling the peacock a pecan hahaha I was laughing so hard
"She stole my nipples☹️‼️" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
WALTER WHITED GOT IT FIGURED OUT brooooooo 4:29
Omg that's deep
Hah first time being early! 😀 and the videos are hilarious!!! And funny 😂
@@swim27s82 lol XD
I got anesthesia before but I was in full control of what I was saying.
I said stuff like “Is it over?” or “When will we go home?”
I told the surgeon," I'm officially Screwed" because he put Screws in my knee. That's all I remember
😂😂😂😂
I saw one where the girls husband kissed her when she woke up. She looked over at her mom and said, Mom this guy is kissing me." Then looked back at her husband and said, " you're really cute!"
In the Far East, we don’t use anesthesia for wisdom teeth extraction., just localized injections to the gums.
@Small Giant ouch
Same in China. The anesthesia didn't work very well, so it hurt like a MF'er. I got the rest removed in the US.
I used to believe these videos were just an act or over extradited people until I got 7 teeth out. I woke up ranting to the dentists on how great of a commander Julius Ceaser was.
I took a video of my son after he had a medical procedure and waking up in recovery. He was flirting with the nurse and it was hilarious‼️😆🤣😂😅
At least u know he's straight 🎉
"My life's a musical!" The last one was the best, wanting to play in the rain with her nurse. :'D
I'm going to have to be a doctor so I can have free access to the Anesthesia! Bahahahha
The lady screaming to the bip sound "hey keep beping because if not u will kill me" hahahahà
My reaction to anesthesia was just straight up screaming and having a super bad panic attack. It was so severe they had to sedate me again
The first thing i heard after coming off of anesthesia was a nurse saying to someone, "ya she's a screamer." I have zero memory of screaming:(((
Wdym “am I turning white again” 💀 1:04
My science teacher told us a story about how she bit a nurse under anesthesia. It was so funny 😂
When I got my wisdom teeth removed and was on anesthesia, I flip off literally everything and kept falling over, and my family recorded the whole thing 😭😭
Coming off anesthesia for wisdom teeth, I said 3 distinct silly things:
1. I looked up at my husband (who's black), then at the nurse, then back at my husband, pointed at him and said "Look at that cute black guy....I MARRIED him..."
2. I told the nurse she was a good dance partner as she was helping me walk to the car.
3. I told my best friend I was now a witcher since I remember them injecting several things into the IV
Anesthesia = FUN times.
When I was on anesthesia I can't feel my lower body but my mind is very active all I ask the doctor was "how can I pee"😂😂😂😂
10:07 "My BoOdYhOlE BlEeDiNG"
GOT ME ROLLING ON THE FLOOR MAN
before my surgery as i was going under they were talking me through it and they were saying how the medicine smells like nail polish and they were asking me stuff like have i been to the nail salon and idk why but i was laughing my butt off when they were talking about strip malls but then i went silent and started getting scared because i forgot my name and i remembered saying bye to my parents but not remembering what they looked like, i even forgot why i was there.
That guy had me cracking up when he said he's gonna be cooking meth
Hilarious video! I love this channel ❤!
3:45 "Like de beybey's byottom" I'm dead 😭
