A velocity-reduction alternative for people who know what they’re doing (do not do this if you’re not confident in your abilities and/or can’t afford a second, though the Mk1 is the cheapest gas pistol in the country so that’s a bit less problematic): cutting one coil on the hammer spring reduces the velocity by roughly 100-150 FPS, making it CQB-legal with both gas and CO2. Half a coil would theoretically reduce it just enough to make it outdoor-legal (at least around my area, where the upper limits are usually 400-410 FPS), which is important as it seems reducing the velocity reduces the accuracy on this gun, unlike most other guns. However, as a CQB gun (where long range isn’t common) it could be useful for stealth, seeing as it’s a prime candidate for a foam-stuffed mock suppressor since it’s a non-blowback, making the only sound the gas expulsion. I’m probably going to buy one of the Mk1 pistols in the future along with some other stuff (a mock suppressor (which I have foam to fill it with), magazines, a Shapeways thread adapter) to achieve a sub-380 FPS stealth pistol. Seems like an interesting piece to modify and mess around with.
I just got a mk1 and I love it, got a lot of compliments on it too. With duster gas it shoots low enough to be cqb friendly as well.

If only KJW would have included these with suppressor threats it would have knocked the TM mk23 out of the water.
This is a good option for a first airsoft pistol or as an AAP-01 replacement until I've saved enough to get one (I've heard that it isn't a good idea to start with a pistol, but I plan using it along another gun anyways).

Theoretically yes, its a standard green gas inlet valve, but we have not done it so can't say for sure.

unfortunately not easily, as there is no rail or threaded barrel. If you want a similar looking pistol consider the Action army AAP or we galaxy gas pistols which both can accept rails and threaded accessories.

Unfortunately you'll have to actually modify the valve. Its pretty tough to lower the fps on NBB co2 pistols.

Like on most .22 target pistols. All pistols really, red dot/scopes are replacing iron sights on many handguns.
even the real ruger relies on tapped holes, if you're handy it'd be pretty easy to rig one yourself.

simplest mods online is to cut the hammer spring, or placing foam on the face of the hammer itself.
I own a Mk1 but so far its insanely inaccurate with .2 gram bbs.
Should i use heavier bbs?
I would use .25 or heavier with this gun, but if its wildly inaccurate, theres something wrong. Try to take a look inside the hopup and barrel and most likely you'll find the issue. A bit of dirt inside the barrel will do that.
It's also an issue with the way it feeds. The accuracy seems to vary depending on how long you hold the trigger when firing which is strange.
is .32 good on this gun.? coz i got .28 to it and its trajectory is going upward i check everything even the hop up and its all good. its accurate in short range but in long ranges its going upward..
