I love the background you didn't create the card with. So pretty! Think I'd add a coffee ring to the upper left corner and the a steaming coffee cup to the lower left. Maybe add a die cut sentiment "warm hugs"
Gorgeous tips and tricks with embossing glaze. Thank you Kristina, beautiful creations. I absolutely adored your last background, so I hope we will see that made up into a card when you're back from your holibobs xoxo
Kristina, Just a thought, but instead of throwing away those mixtures of embossing glaze, perhaps you could have a jar nearby to pour them all into and then use them on something as a mixture and see what turns out.
Great techniques for using the embossing glazes! 🤗 Would really love to see more! For such a beautiful product there are very few videos on how to use them. 🤔
And again I am watching you in the middle of the night 😆. Coincidentally I got myself the tree exact same primary colors. I tried out mixing them and that was amazing, when I am finished editing my video you can see that. I now see I also need the purple shade, what a gorgeous combination! The last card is gorgeous as well, the walnut stain adds gorgeous dimension. I would just add a banner text sentiment in the left top of the card, beautiful! Thanks for this video. I will have a good night sleep now 😅
Thank you so much for showing these techniques. I have a bunch of the glazes, and haven’t really used them a lot, but now I will. The background that you didn’t make a card out of is beautiful, and it would a be a total shame to cover it up with a greeting. My suggestion would be to do a curved greeting along the stenciled design, and maybe a few rustic embellishments. ❤
Great cards! Embossing glaze is the best! The mixed powders left over can be thrown into a jar and used for making backgrounds or coloring die cuts, etc. Tim calls it a “party mix” lol. That last card (Boho goodness!) is so grungy I love it! Put some die cut Fall leaves or maybe a tea or coffee cup die cut. Fun! TYFS ❤️🦋💜
I am not a fan of watercolor and letting the ink flow down the paper. However, putting the stencil on top and using embossing. Then adding the darker ink around the edges to give it a weathered look! 😮❤🎉 Perfection!😊 Absolutely beautiful card.
This video was so informative on how to utilize these embossing glazes. Thanks for doing that. Have to say the purple card is my favorite. Your background you didn't use would look great with a floral arrangement. Just my opinion.
I agree with Katherine9026 below suggesting saving the powders, at least the ones that go together and won't create mud. The pink and red combo would be great for a lot of things. Maybe separate into warm colors and cool colors and see what happens.
I know ya said on the card that ya used more than 1 color, ya couldn't put back in the jars. Could ya just have a separate container for the mixed powder to use another time?
Hi Kristina . Love watching your videos. I noticed your 3rd technique you used an embossing folder that had 3 flowers on it, but then when you coloured and added glaze it wasn't the same background, did I miss something? Also I didn't see you use embossing powder on the backgrounds at all. When using embossing glaze do you not need to use it to prevent it from sticking where you didn't want it to? Thank you ❤
I was trying out a couple of different folders, but did the glaze on the second. I didn’t use powder tools because I was applying embossing glaze powder over entire surfaces, so it wouldn’t matter as much. :)

I love, love, love that purple/pink floral background! So stunning!

That is great idea!
Thanks for sharing!
Tim calls that a “party mix” and it is fun!
I love this video, going to watch again and take notes so I can try everything with my supplies
All three beautiful!! That purple is so stunning !
Such great techniques and beautiful cards! Thanks Kristina & SimonSS!
Ohhh, these are some fun ways to use those glaze embossing powders.
Thank you so much for your inspiration Kristina

LOVE THESE!! LOVE THE COLORS OF DISTRESS GLAZE!!
GORGEOUSNESS!!! Love the techniques & learned about embossing glazes! Didn’t realize that they were sheer! Love the “end results”!!!

Looking forward to trying the techniques! That last card is my style - add butterflies!
I love this. It's like a stained glass window
Stunning cards!! Amazing tips and techniques.
Oh my goodness! Those are so creative and fun! I’m still a newer card maker, but it makes me want all the things. Well done!
Love this video. New way to look at embossing glaze. Thank you
The unfinished background says autumn to me. A vintage-y pumpkin or fall leaves, maybe? I love the transparency of embossing glazes & all your layers!

Wow. Luv this technique. I had no idea what Embossing Glaze was but now I have to give it a go. 💜

So glad Kristina sparked your imagination, Cindy!
Beautiful embossing techniques. ❤ Thank you Kristina! 😊
You have inspired me to get out my embossing glazes. Thanks you.
Great video. Love the colors!!! Thanks
Fantastic backgrounds. Great tips. Thank you.
I especially love that last card - very cool.
Beautiful! ❤
Appreciated the techniques. Haven't really seen too many crafters share how to use glazes..so thanks

I did want to suggest a travel sentiment or memories of travel for the card. Maybe a brown cardstock behind it or patterned.
Thanks for the great ideas! I have a few embossing glazes and am excited to try some new techniques!

Fantastic cards! I would add black diecuts to your final background for a silhouette effect
So much fun Kristina!
Fabulous ❤

Gorgeous cards! The background you didn’t turn into a card was my favorite. 😊❤️
Nice descriptions for your methods. I like your process.
Great cards and great tips!!!
Nice tutorial on using these glazes & pastes. TFS.
You are so welcome!
Curve a greeting around the mandala design? Enjoyed the video very much and may need to try the glazes
Beautiful cards!
Very pretty cards!
I would use that left over back ground with some vintage accent that would be really nice..
I know ya said on the card that ya used more than 1 color, ya couldn't put back in the jars. Could ya just have a separate container for the mixed powder to use another time?
That would probably work!

@@kwernerdesign okay thank you for clarifying for me 😀
Add the unfinished card background for a masculine birthday card.
It's like grunge journal and greeting card don't meet on the last example.
Why didn’t you save the powder and it would make a new color?
You can save leftover powder if you want, but there is a LOT of powder in each jar. I didn’t feel the need to save it.
