This is interesting view of the world inequality regarding access to electricity. However, there is something positive in it - the micro-grids, created by solar installations, actually will make the African countries more resilient comparing to rest of the world.
Might be worth to look at the "pay-as-you-go" pricing schemes.

Why do you think there is nothing wrong exactly? Because all the evidence of hundreds of scientists combined in the IPCC reports tells us otherwise. I don't understand how you can still think that it is not a problem, can you tell me why your opinion is that it is not harmful?
