Since the LJNs were the first real toy line I collected as a kid, your vids showcasing your collection and how the 'new-age' figures fit in really stirs those nostalgic feelings. I agree with your top 2, Bad News and Perfect were such great heels and would be fantastic additions to BRG. If I could ask, did you color in those Jakks tag belts on Demolition? I'm looking for a set myself (since the Mattels are too short) and all I could find are pure gold chromed ones.
This was a fun video to watch. I haven't purchased any of The Big Rubber Guys figures, but I'm a HUGE fan of XOX At Random Treasures LJN custom figures. Most of the figures on your wishlist has already been made by them and they're awesome! I've purchased 51 of their figures so far.
Not sure if you saw, but they just announced a Dusty Rhodes for their Major Bendies line today. Nothing is guaranteed, but that’s very promising that Dusty could be announced as a BRG next.
These are great suggestions! I'd love to have seen a Bob Backlund; surprised it didn't happen. I think Akeem should have had his own. I'm all for a Gorilla Monsoon, and Fink, and will we see a Sensational Sherri figure? You don't know!!!
WWF Champ Bob needs to happen. Whenever they do a figure of him, it's always Mr. Bob from the 90s heel run. Give us the All American Boy version! The problem with a Sherri figure is once you get it, who knows where it'll end up. Inside the cage...outside the cage...you don't know!
As kid I had some WWF rubber figures. Great toys! Zero points of articulation but what kid needs them? I’m going to spend 10 minutes posing a dude into a figure 4 leg lock or something when I’m 6 years old? They all had pose you could punch or toss the opponent and unbreakable. Head but from top of the dresser? Go for it.
To be honest...I didn't get into WWE figureso...,but I respect your collection Michael and knowledge, you can't beat the 80s toys... have a good weekend Michael
When I was a little kid my favorite was Brutus the barbar beefcake. And when they came out with his rubber guy, I was so happy. That being said, I still have him and that's the only one I needed on my shelf. But this whole collection is amazing and I'm so happy you have such as a great collecting hobby!
Oh goodness, watching this video was the absolute worst thing for my wallet! My old school LJN figure collection is a little weak but this video reminded me how awesome they are!
At 4 years old were I lived I remember it being hard to come across these figures, I'd matchup my Nicolai volkloff with my friend downstairs steamboat. I always thought stone cold was heavily inspired by bad news brown but never heard anyone say it
Great list. For the 90’s, I’d love to see a Power and Glory team. Herc really needed an upgrade, and Roma never had a figure. I loved their red, white, and black color scheme and was a fan of big guy/smaller guy tag teams like the heart foundation. One technical guy, one strong man/brawler.
Ahh David Sammartino, Mario Mancini, Barry O, Conquisidors, Tom McGee. Absolute, no peg warmers here. In seriousness, Von Erichs, and Billy Red Lyons Hamiltons own during maple leaf wrestling days.
It might happen after all. They just announced a Major Bendies Dusty: twitter.com/MajorWFPod/status/1762473059171049817 . Same site that sells the Big Rubber Guys.
Wow! I'm a Major Mark and a longtime fan of this channel! Fun to see the two collide!
Thanks! Glad to hear you've enjoyed the videos.

Thanks, glad to hear it. Jakks had painted and unpainted versions of their belts. These are the painted ones.

I agree did you see the Rick Rude n Texas Tornado ,holy crap they are perfect, xox is the way to go ,

Awesome! That's definitely a good sign that WWE doesn't have exclusive rights to the Dream.
I love that you can tell just nail all the promos. You always bring me back to the best time to be a wrestling fan.

Definitely the most durable toys of the 80s. Only the family dog stood a chance wrecking them.

Thanks, you as well!

BROSKI and Bare Minimum are doing great work!
loved the video, man.
Thanks! Yeah, they're firing on all cylinders with this line so far.
I wanna grey and black undertaker from 1990-1992
We need a Missing Link
Would've liked to have seen all 3 of The Machines as LJNs/BRG.
Plus the guest Machines, like Piper Machine and Hulk Machine. 😁
A masked jobber guy!
Oh goodness, watching this video was the absolute worst thing for my wallet! My old school LJN figure collection is a little weak but this video reminded me how awesome they are!
Yay for toys that can't break!
Wish list: Ultimate Warrior, Demolition 3-Pack (w/ Crush), Hart Foundation, Undertaker & Big Boss Man
Bad News was a great choice and he was definitely ahead of his time. The “special favors” promo would have fit in perfectly during the attitude era.
True!

Power & Glory was a great team to counter the Harts. The Power-Plex finisher was incredible!
Nice.
Great video and selections!
Thanks!

Doncha dare miss it!
A bob backlund. in his prime as champion. would be a good one
Do you have any of the old galoob figures? I like them a lot
A few.
All excellent choices. Mine would be too long to list. But let's just say that it has more 90's Wrestlers than 80's.
I'd love to have an LJN Dusty Rhodes.

@@MichaelMercy Too cool. I'd even buy a Dusty wearing...ugh polka-dots.
Turns out he was wearing them in '77, 12 years before the WWF polka dots: twitter.com/allan_cheapshot/status/1523313836451045376
Great video
Thanks!
Id like to see Batman
😆
They are
I love these Big Rubber Guys but I can't justify the price. Not saying they aren't good quality but $50 is a big chunk of change for non-poseable figs
