I Forced Them To Fight For Limited Resources in World Box

- I made my custom map and put a small amount of resources on it that were strategically placed to make them compete for it. The four different races were placed on the four corners to start and were free to do that they want from there. They started out thriving but quickly encroached on each others space and were forced to fight to survive. I would help things along once in a while by making the land mass smaller and smaller.. pushing them all closer together. It was a long process but eventually a winner emerged and was rewarded accordingly. World Box gameplay with my commentary as always!

Oh Df just I have to say that world box recently got 2 updates... however you need Manually update the game, (going to the place where you bought it and clicking update) I think you’ll like what it adds

Seeing the settlement population growth stagnating at 30-ish in the middle of the video. You may want to pepper in more rocks around the map, to get things rolling faster. When upgrading their buildings with rocks, they can then build *mines* early to gather an infinite supply of rocks and minerals afterward. The population booms when things start upgrading, this can fill the land with more people and make for intense wars.
Would recommend the option for colonies to become their own factions in the settings. This creates enough discourse that larger colonies can be kept in check with the constant raids. But, this tactic may fail if they get too large. It’s cool seeing you revisit this game.

Just some quick info just in case some people don't know:
-Kingdoms are marked by the color of their territory.
-Territories whose names have a star are the capitals of their respective kingdom.
-Territories without a star are simply villages under their respective kingdom.
-The Kings only live in the capitals and are in a sense the most powerful units (civilized) that there are since they passively gain exp as years pass.
-The Kings are also given priority to powerful equipment created by blacksmith since you'll often see their inventory with legendary tier items. (The villages and capitals must have access to lots of resources such as precious metals, wood, food and even animals to hunter to further progress the quality of items they can make.)
-It is actually possible to make a "Hero" in a way. If you give the King a blessing then their stats will gain a significant boost as well as the ability to heal from killing other units.
-You can also mark a unit as a "favorite" to keep better track of them (There should be a favorites menu that further lets you keep track of them easier in the latest update)

Go into settings, and tap the burger, it opens up the devoloper tool so you can track which faction each character belongs too.

Colin Furze (another TH-camr) was saying that it’s a TH-cam decision for videos over 10 minutes to be flooded with ads (if ads are enabled). But I agree, it’s getting almost as bad as regular TV.
Tyler A. Actually TH-camrs can decide where to put there ads but they can’t have too much ads or else there won’t be enough ads for everyone, that’s showy sometimes you won’t get an ad at an ad spot, I’m not sure if df put all those ads but it would be cool if he didn’t
