Massive year ahead

2023 is going to be MASSIVE!
But don’t take our word for it - here's what’s planned for North East Link this year:
Major works have resumed on all sites from Watsonia to Bulleen.
The first pieces of our massive Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) are being built and will arrive later this year.
Work has started on the TBM launch box site in Watsonia -where the TBMs will begin their journey south. At 40 metres deep and 200 metres long - it’s a ‘Big Build’!
In Bulleen we’re making way for the Yarra Link Green bridge and major interchange to connect the Eastern Freeway to the new tunnels.
We’re also completing Bulleen Park & Ride, and will award contracts for the M80 upgrade and first part of the Eastern Freeway overhaul.
With 2,200 workers already on the project, we’ll create 10,000 jobs for Victorians over the life of the project.
